Any updates? How's the little boy doing? Is he breathing? I'll keep you and your coco in my prayers. |
She may start producing milk after she gives birth to all of the pups. I wouldn't feed him just yet. |
If mom has finished cleaning pup and etc...you can try to get him to latch on while she is between pups..... If she starts moving around alot during the delivery of her next pup you may want to move the pup to a waiting box, but you'll need to have a heating pad or warm water bottle in with the pup. Sounds like Mom is doing    all on her own!!!! Take some breaths and relax and just stand by in case mom needs you, but it sounds like she has it handled and is doing great! |
Congratulations. Did you weigh him? Put him to a nipple to see if he latches on. The milk should come. |
Eating "ONE" placenta will help in getting the milk coming too as well as keep her energy up for the next delivery. However it does give her diarreha. |
How are we doing? Is pup breathing freely and has he latched on? See if you can keep towards moms front legs to give her room to scrunch up as she pushes out the next pup. Do you have plenty of small, clean towels and a heating pad to keep the little ones and mom comfortable? Here we go! |
3 Attachment(s) he hasnt drunk any milk and wont drink from the bottle...here are the pics!!! |
OMG!!!! He is so precious! Is momma having anymore contrations? |
Don't push the bottle, just let that be. Try to get him to latch on he'll need the cholestrum. Just make sure that he's warm and that mom is bonding and is comfortable. How long has it been since her last contraction? |
Ooooooo YEAH! Congrats!!! He is so very beautiful! |
no more contractions, i think it might be just one pup....how long till i feed him for the first time??? coco has no milk :( |
congrats. looks like a good size puppy. good luck w the rest of the delivery. we hope to hear from you soon |
put a little of your spit on one of her tits and try to help him to latch on again. It\'s really important that you let the mom do her job and feed the little guy. Don\'t be in a hurry to interfere or she may not bond and you\'ll have an orphan on your hands. Just keep trying to help him to latch on, he needs the cholestrum and she needs the stimulation. |
i guessing you don\'t know how many she was having?? i had a litter that each came out an hour apart. one was two hours later. can you feel her and see if you feel any more in her belly? |
They have a tendency to come in pairs but just cause you haven\'t seen evidence of an other one coming doesn\'t mean that it won\'t. Keep an eye on her and keep trying to get your lil guy to nurse. Did you record the time of his birth? Do you see any bulging in her pernium? |
