| Anyone delt with this Biewer breeder from Germany??? I found this breeder in Germany and I live in San Diego, Ca. I've been e-mailing her back and forth. She said she is personally delivering another pup to Ca. I think this sounds too good to be true. I wouldn't want to ship a puppy that far, but it sounds like it might be okay if she is with them. Has anyone done anything like this before? Is it a scam? She said shipping is included in the price, which is $4100. Any advice would help. Her Web site is http://www.myinsatiablelove.com Thanks, Christy |

| Please don't be too terribly concerned w/ the shipment process even if the breeder didn't fly w/. Flying is considered pretty safe nowadays. Ava arrived from Hungary and she weighed in like at 1 lb 5 ounces and was quite the happy camper and not scared/nervous, if anything, she was full of herself! |

So i can see where they will live and if they would get a great home. Also the puppys dont need to fly the long way alone ..... ! I am not planing to fly only to CA i would fly like to fly every where in the USA and show our dogs ..... it would be soooo great . Please let me know if there are more questions. Thank you . | Hmm..I've know of some US breeders that sold their Biewers for the same or more. I personally would go to Michael for a puppy. I actually did many moons ago..lol..but she ended up being too small and Michael being the ethical breeder he is placed her as a pet. Best of luck and go with what you feel, not others opinions. |

| The biggest thing anyone can do that is looking for a pet or for a breeding Biewer is to do research, research, research. Do not be hasty! Since this is a fairly new breed in the US you will find a lot of pretty words but you need to talk to people and do a lot of looking at different websites. Good Luck with finding your perfect Biewer as they are a wonderful Breed. You might want to also go and look at the sister website to Yorkie Talk which is Biewertalk.com so you can learn a little more. Not as active but many different breeders are on this site. Best wishes.

| Christy -- I just wanted to put my two cents in here! What Living Dustmops said is the best advice I can give you! It took me almost a year before I got my magnificent little girl! And, believe me -- I definitely did a bunch of research! It's amazing what you can discover on the internet! I think I went on every breeders website, both in Germany, as well as here in the US. I echo the words -- research, research, research! I was extremely lucky to find my girl from a wonderful US breeder, and did not have to have her shipped all the way from Germany. I know that's how we got these little beauties over here, but with many breeders here having their litters now, it's not a necessity. I'm not trying to discredit any of the German breeders here, and there are many wonderful dogs to be had. Here's a picture of my Magnolia's baby, and I am very proud to tell you that Sue (Snow Yorkies) is the breeder! The second picture is of Lola's mama at the same age! I think they both look gorgeous -- and like twins!!! They were both 7 months old in these pictures! |
