| Pumpkin had her pups Pumpkin had her puppies Sat. morning she had the first two ok but the third puppy was "folded over" and trying to come BACK first!! C-section of course!! she had 2 boys, 1 girl. then on sunday afternoon the little girl's belly was so swollen, called the Vet and he asked if Pumkin was taking care of her, yes she was, she's a great mom, but the little girl didn't make it. I ttok her in and he said she a small leak in the intines that allow for fecal matter to go into her abnomen hence the big belly. Nothing I could've done he said, probaly never get another puppy like that, i said I hope not. both boys are doing great. has anyone else ever heard of this?? |

| So sorry the little girl didn't make it, but congratulations on the two boys. Never have encountered that particular problem, but I have lost one in a litter due to other reasons within the first 24 - 48 hours. |
