The Tiah and Trixie Waiting Game JULZ !!! We still don't have any puppies...I see you don't have any either!:( If you follow what Trixie did last time, she should be nesting today and birthing tomorrow. Earlier this AM, she wasn't showing signs of either.:( |

I leave for vacation tomorrow at 4. I really hope these girls have their puppies before then so I can see some puppy pictures before I go. I hope the whelpings goe smoothly and I will keep checking for updates |
Gosh Bama, I sure hope they both deliver today. Tiah is going to one way or another. I am giving her 2 more hours and then we are headed to the vet for a shot to induce labor. Can you still feel Trixie's puppies moving. Mine have slowed down tremendously but I can still feel them (thank God). Tiah just started to nest early this morning. |
Oh yes, her pups are still moving in full force. I'm hoping she'll start nesting today and be ready to go tomorrow.:) |
Oh I hope she goes naturally. Is it more painful for them when they induce labor. ? |
How many days are they respectively? |
Trixie is 68 days from the first tie, 64 days from the last. Last litter, she whelped 69 days from her first tie, 65 days from the last. |
Wow, sounds like you girls are going to be busy, hope all goes well for both you and mom (and pups). Same for Julz and Tiah (poor babe) |
We just had pups the other night.2 boys and 2 girls Josey was 64 days.We lost one tiny little male labor stopped after the first 4 2 shots of oxy and nothing to the vets massaged the little one back and did not make it. I am going to have to supplement them for Josey is not very big and they have really diminished her bag. The only problem I am having is getting them to nurse out of the bottle.The 2 boys will eat well but not the 2 girls.All were good weight 3-4 oz. Mom was eating right before her labor also never had one do that before. Took her temp at 5 1oo took it again at 9pm for she was acting funny and 99. Pups came fast. Now I got something I have never had before the two little girls were in one sack and one placenta.Has anyone ever had this before they came out not even a second apart???????Both are fine no p[roblems health wise. Have any of you ever had that? I would post pics but no digital camera. I told Julz I would take some with regular camera develop then scan and post them later this week. |

Thanks Villette never had twins before i even saved the placenta and two cords attached for my vet to see.He has only seen it once and that was with a dalmation. Brandon is in high heaven of course,he wanted to call Rini at 6 am and tell her.. We never told him we lost one he would of been upset,and he plans on keeping them all.I asked him what would we do with 8 dogs, he said "nothing we would just keep them like the rest he said, they are part of the family arnt they mom"LOL And Josey is such a good mama glad of the outcome for her after last time!! |
Libby and I are praying for Tiah and Trixie today. Hope these girls get going! We are at Day 8 and doing great. They all look like little furballs. I caught Libby eating her puppy food at 2 AM. During the day she refuses it cuz she knows I will give her turkey breast. She is sooo busted! This little lady has had me wrapped around her little paws! Good luck ladies. I hope to be reading new puppy posts later today. |

We just got back from the vet....I thought we may end up with a c-section. Had another x-ray....this one only showed 4 puppies. My Mom and I still think there are 6 in there. Friday's x-ray showed a pup in the birth canal and the rest all lined up perfectly. NOW the little bugger has moved OUT of the birth canal and they are all over the place! I'm going to wait it out longer since Tiah isn't in any distress at all. I will take her back at the first sign of a problem. Stay tuned.....;) Isn't it something about those twin Yorkie girls being born!! Bama, sure hope everthing goes well for you and yours. Coco's Mom, hope all goes well for you also. It's like we are waiting in a big Yorkie Maternity Ward:D |
OMG Julz. I am sure you are feeling pretty stressed! How is Tiah acting? Nesting? Eating? Or just life as usual? Am thinking of Tiah and Trixie and hoping all goes well. |

Geeze, I made up a batch of that "post whelping" Knox receipe when I THOUGHT Tiah was going to have her pups and soon will have to throw it out and make a new batch! |

Oh am I bummed. I leave for vacation in 5 hours and Tiah and Trixie have not had their pups yet. I quess I will have to see their puppy pictures when I get back. I Hope you both have a safe and a smooth whelping. |
