[QUOTE=sylvan]Why on earth would you even consider breeding a tiny dog whose temperment is so bad that she was a danger to the pups, bit you in the face and had to be put on valium? and you are saying that 3 vets approved this???? I simply cannot fathom the idea. Perhaps she misunderstood their qualifications...maybe they were THINKING of attending Vet School....so many choices are presented to young people in high school these days....:D Francie |

Thanks you guys said everything i wanted to say, but totaly was speachless, just couldn find the right words without my mouth getting me in trouble ! My heart is just breaking for this poor little female ! |
Yes, 6 weeks old is just way too young. 12 weeks is acceptable. Maybe if your set on breeding again and nothing will change your mind....you could read up on the subject, do LOTS of research, buy a variety of whelping videos, find a local breeder in your area who would be willing to mentor you and help you if needed. Find a vet who offers 24 hour care. Then purchase a female that is larger, 5 to 6 lbs. Choose one within the breed standard and who is large enough. Instead of using your female who experienced problems. You never know, after all your research and learning, you may decide its really not for you. There really is more to just having puppies and selling them. Alot more! What ever you decide, please do your research. There is tons to know. Good luck to you. |
DM, Do you have any pics of the surviving puppies? I wanna see puppy pics!!! |
