![]() For anyone that does not know my female gave birth to 6 puppies. The smallest puppy weighed 1.6oz. Right now it does not look like she has to much longer to live. Is there anything I can do? I am so scared for her.

| ![]() I do breed, but I think if you are that scared I would get her to the vet as soon as possible, have you been weighing to see if she is gaining? Is she latching on, or is there something else going on with the wee one! Better just stick with original and get her into the vet now! ![]()

![]() Keep her warm and get her to the vet! Ask them to give her some sub-q fluid since she is probably dehydrated. Has she latched on at all and how long ago? They could possibly tube her for you to get some more nourishment into her. Good luck and so sorry she is having trouble ![]()

![]() How is that baby girl? Were you able to get her to the vet? Please let us know. This just breaks my heart when I read threads like this. I know that as time goes by, every breeder will experience this heart break, but it must be so incredibly difficult for you. Just keep loving her.

![]() Are you supplementing at all? i have followed your threads about the pups. silk had no milk and when it just started to come in, I could not get my littlee baby to latch on. i did everything. For two days and nights, I fed her the Esbalic thru a syringe every two hours max. sometimes, every hour. Thee third day she started sucking and Silk had plenty of milk at that time but I was afraid I was going to lose her. She lost .4 of an ounce the first day then started a slow gain with me feeding her. She didn't suck the syringe, I slowly force fed her being careful not to let her aspirate. today at the age of two weeks and one day, she weighs 1.04 lbs. She is going to be a big one, I'm afraid. Please update us on your little one.
