I guess it is possible, but with the intimate contact of Moms and babies doubtful. If one has it, they all do. The greatest risk is going to come from the Mom herself that is why I test the Mom. Even though you are handfeeding it is very possible they got worms during gestation especially if you have never had your Mom tested or regularly dewormed. |

is it oki to give the pups nutri cal??? i gave my girl a lil today bc she got very weak and it seemed to wake her up a little with some water...but i will watch her through the night and take her to the vet 2moro..her tongue is also light pink does this mean anything? :animal-pa |

my mom didnt have worms and was on prevenative but my pupppies had worms. yikes! i read that is the eggs stay dormant in the mom till stress then they can get release into the milk. i would test the puppies poop. it was like $7.50 per test at my vet |
