JMO....I think that is a stunning, well bred pup and I've heard nothing but good things about Tsa La Gi and see nothing on her site to throw up a red flag. The dogs pictured on her site are good examples of the breed and I wouldn't hesitate to inquire about a pup from this breeder. |

She kept saying that she breeds for personality that all these show breeders breed dogs with no personality. So I don't know....right now I'm leaning toward Glenda, in OK, most people said good things. Her price is $1400 which includes shipping which seems more do-able especially since we'll have to pay a $300 pet deposit on our apartement which is non-refundable and I'm going to get the puppy vet checked no matter who I purchase a puppy from. Roger, my hubby, could tell the different though, Glenda and Stephs puppies looked better, had their ears up and had the cuter faces. This other womans yorkies had really long snouts which I don't care for. AHHHHHHHHHHH! And I thought it would be more stressful to have a baby than a dog.:( Going to make a decision by tonight. |
NO, the reason she is co-owner with Carolyn is because they were partners in breeding. Carolyn does not know the first thing about showing, she is strictly a breeder in it for the money. The problem with Carolyn is that the people that are saying it are the ones that shelled out 800 + and ended up with either very sick, or dogs that dies. You can email all the ones that complained. I was on lists with Carolyn for several years. I also have a dog that is a shunt pup from her line that put me back 5000.00 by the time we had her fixed. That many people don't make up stories, too many to NOT be true. Marsha's dog Lollipop ended up dying after suffering with ringworm, and parvo. The pup was ridden with fleas when she got her, as were others that got pups from Carolyn. Believe me, my shunt girl is a beautiful dog, she is actually the one that got me started in showing, but nice looking does not mean healthy. If you are going to purchase a puppy, insist on having the bile acid test done, at least that will show any sort of problem with the liver before you get toh dog. One thing good about Carolyn, she taught me a valuable lesson. I now test every single dog I get, and I also test every puppy I produce, even though the parents have already been tested. |
Contact by phone.... She may be reached better by telephone rather than email......just a heads up.....some people never read emails..... |

I have found Glenda to be warm, friendly and extremely helpful. My male pup got very sick one Friday morning soon after I got him so I rushed him to the vet for treatment. The vet did blood tests and treated him for accidential poisoning but could never truly find out what made him so sick. She told me that, because liver shunt was so common in Yorkies, it would have to be considered and she set up the bile acid test for Mon morning. That was a hard weekend of waiting. I contacted Glenda and she was so sweet and supportive. She said that, if he did have a shunt, she would do whatever it took to make things right. Fortunatately, Deuce did not have a shunt but I could not have ask for anything more from a breeder. I purchased all 3 pups to show so I have since had them all bile acid tested and had knees and hips check on 2 of my puppies and Glenda had my male's knees tested before she shipped him to me. I would strongly recommend Glenda to anyone looking for a quality puppy and if I ever buy another one I will buy it from her. I know Carolyn Buffington by reputation only but I have only heard good things about her. I have a dear friend that has had business dealings with her and she said that her facilities are clean and her dogs gorgeous. |
