I think all pups should be wormed regardless of the test results. My vet and my emergency vet says they are not always detected in tests. I worm my pups at 3 and 6 weeks with Strongid or Nemex and then at 9 and 12 with Panacur. The Panacur is too strong for the tiny pups, but after 6 weeks old, it is a good choice, since it covers whip worms as well as others. However, you do have to be VERY cautious with it and only give the exact dose recommended. |
Thanks for the info,I haven't wormed my nearly 5 week old pups either, a lot of breeders start at 2 weeks, I agree with the other lady, what is it doing to our babies??? |
