Yes. It does make me sad when I think about it. But it's soo common. I guess I've just accepted it. Interesting about the Black Yorkie! |
I am sorry if I upset or offended anyone by my post. That was not my intention. In all honesty, I love to look at pic and hear about the Biewers. There just has been so much controversy about them lately, that everytime they are brought up, I cringe to think how the disscussion will end. It is very upsetting to see great breeders who are striving to educate themself about and promote the breed come to blows and the such over the subject because of a difference in opinion. That was all I meant, no disrespect to anyone. I'm always up for seeing pics and hearing about them...but I have to say I'll pass on all the arguments. From the looks of it, that has all been ended now...knock on wood. :) Again, I apologize if my post came accross as rude and offensive to anyone. :( |
I'm not trying to upset you Bama but you were the only one that had anything negative to say. If you don't want to upset or hear anything negative about the briewers then you shouldn't add to the problem. |
The other side of the coin. Okay I am NOT trying to start anything here 1st thing ... and here it comes please bare with me for one moment, as I try to see the other side of the coin here. We are stating..... 1.) We want them to be a breed of their own 2.) Some what the Yorkshire removed from their name all together 3.) Some don't want them associated to the Yorkshires peroid. So if this is what we truly want for the breed we HAVE to understand why others are saying this is a Yorkie Forum. As mother would say "You can not have your cake and eat it too" I personally think that Admin has let us discuss this openly on a yorkie forum plan and simple due to their heritage. JMO This is not a attack "just some food for thought".... :D :D |
If those of you that want to fuss over this being discussed put up such a big fuss over this than this forum will get to be where we can't talk about anything but yorkies. And I don't know about you but I enjoy being able to come on here to talk about my yorkies, my other pets, my kids and just life in genral. Do you really want a forum where you can't discuss but one single topic with all of your friends? I am glad admin lets us branch out some. That is why I love this forum the most. Does talking about Briewers make you ill? Does it really harm you in any kind of way? No it doesn't. So why not let those that enjoy the topic enjoy themselves..wouldn't that be the kind thing to do. |

How DARE YOU!!!! I feel attacked!!..HAHA..I'm just joking :p . Let's face it Biewers are not any more special than a Chi or a Maltese or any other breed that we discuss on YT. Admin has been kind enough to not ban the name Biewer from his Yorkshire forum. Thanks Admin! |

I know the breed or the name 'Biewer' is not what bothers you. You are friends with both sides of the Biewer table so I'm sure it's not a fun position to be in. I want you to enjoy the pics. I want your nutty remarks on my posts. I posted this thread because I want to feel at ease to say what I want about Biewers and not be accused to have a hidden agenda when I mention them. It has gotten hair on this public forum You should see the email I received privately. Nothing was held back..lolol. That's fine. I am glad to have beautiful Biewers and be a part of the introduction of the beautiful breed that originated in Germany. I think hear DQ calling your name:...lololol Hugs, Irene |

Belonging to the yorkie breed or a breed all their own, I could care less. They are just beautiful little dogs to me and I would love to learn and see more about them. :) Sometimes its just best to simply enjoy the beauty of something without analyzing it to death ;) |
