Congratulations! Can't wait to see them grow up! |
Congratulations on the pups...... glad to hear they are all doing well!!! :) |
congrats on the new kids. Make sure give mom plenty of natural calicum like cottage cheese, yogurt and goats milk. I also give 1/2 calcium tums in the morning and 1/2 at night every day while nursing. If you need to suppliment the pups, suppliment the larger ones not the smaller ones, let the tinier ones have the teat, the larger ones get the bottle. good luck post pics when you can |
Congrats on the new babies!!! Post pics when you get the chance :) Irene, Your puppies are soooo cute...I LOVE the puppy pile picture...that is one of the cutest pictures I have ever seen :) :) :) |
It must be amazing to be right in the middle of "the action" . . . and witness EVERYTHING . . . .Congratulations! I am sure you are ecstatic and relieved that the delivery process is now over and everything went so well. Irene, thanks for sharing your pictures. I think they are sooo adorable, especially the 2nd one - so precious! |
Hi Amanda! Congratulations on a successful delivery of 5 happy healthy pups! Wow! Amazing and so happy for you to have such a large litter first time around! Chloe is only expecting 2 maybe 3. Can't wait to see pics! Vivian |
3 Attachment(s) Thanks sooo much for all the well wishes and the tips! They are sooo well accepted! :) Here's a few pics of the crew. Oh...and so far, they're holding their own pretty well. Noone lost more than 1/5th of an ounce, so they're still ranging from 2.7 oz to 4.8 oz. HOORAY! :) Mom's doing a WONDERFUL job! She's very protective of the pups, but knows that I'm there to help her. She's taking care to keep them warm, clean and well fed all day and night long. Thank heavens! Lord knows I was up all night making sure of it too! hehehehe Oh yeah, and the ones that were feet first, just kept coming out that way...I did push one of the feet back up inside before it came out by itself, but to no avail, it came out by itself anyway....it was just happening all so very fast, and I guess there was just no time for turning. Vet said that was totally normal for that to happen (feet first) and not to worry. She didn't seem to handle it badly, guess it just caught me by surprise. |
they are such cute babys :) :) |
Good thing you had several colors of yarn.. :D Congrats! |
