| Picky Pregnant Puppy I feed my dog royal canin - open dish. A couple weeks ago, I started supplementing her diet with 1/4 c puppy food (also Royal Canin). Now my dear dog is picking out the puppy food and refusing the adult food. I’m worried she’s not eating enough. (She’s was 5.5lbs pre-pregnancy, recently 6.2lbs, and 6 weeks along) So do I... A) keep doing what I’m doing (open dish with a little puppy food) ... she’ll eat when/if she’s hungry. B) give in & give her more puppy food C) throw some broth or something ele to entice her to eat the adult food. D) something else... (LOL she’s eating as I type this, but it might be the puppy food; my daughter mixed it in with her regular food.) |
