twins There has been more then one occurance in humans also.....with dogs it is not that uncommon. There was a breeder not far from me who asked me to visit and look at her breeding dogs. She had a small male who was about 4 pounds and a larger male who as 8 pounds. She had a female in season and both males were with her. I was surprised she wasn't concerned...her theory was..she allowed her males freedom, never penned them from girls in heat. She could always tell the sire of each puppy by looking at it. I told her she was freaking genius! |

1 Attachment(s) Heres my Chyanne with her lab puppy surprise.lol He was really cute but was so big . She had a real hard time having him. and we almost lost him because of it. He was like stuck head in butt out and there was no room and he was just caught there and he was no longer in a sac. we had no time to take her off to the vet and so we greased her up and pulled with each push and let me tell you she was so tired that there was hardley any pushing left in her.But she did it and I was so proud of her. We would see Big daddy Lab setting by the woods looking in and well when we saw this baby we just knew it was his.We named him Raven . |
I remember that too. |

Eggs are usually dropped over a 48 hr period, though not able to be fertilized for up to another 48 hrs in utero. |
There's a case locally where there are twins, one black (bi-racial) and one white. The mother must have double ovulated and each twin has a different Dad. To see them, they look nothing alike, but they were born at the same time to the same mother. The boy has very fair skin, is blue-eyed and blonde and the girl has dark skin and Afro-American features and hair. |
