YT 500 Club Member | Are there any REPUTABLE breeders in NM? And are there any specifically that I should make sure to avoid? Any guidance would be appreciated. New Mexico isn't overflowing with breeders so far that I can tell |

| Hiya! I posted on the general board re: the YTCA breeder members in NM: Dog Breeders Map List- The Yorkshire Terrier Club of America I would say that waiting on their list would always be better than trying to get a puppy in a rush. At least then you know you get what you've paid for from breeders which breed to standard and that includes health, temperament and looks. Hope this helps! |

| Sorry, meant to add that even if those on the list do not have puppies available you can ask them if they can recommend someone else.. That is what I originally called Teddy's breeder for and she just happened to have puppies - so I got lucky! |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Also, you may want to explore outside of NM bc many good breeders will have access to a courier who can fly the pup to you IN CABIN for a reasonable charge...

| Why not adopt a rescue dog? Check out RescueMe.org and you will find lots of rescue Yorkies in every state. Colorado has many breeder rescues. |
