When they are able to actually tag the specific DNA and chromosomes that are responsible for these diseases, and they are ever soooo close to doing this successfully, these diseases will be so much easier for those that study pedigrees and lineage, to avoid breeding/combining pairs that will produce these diseases, and we can completely irradicate them. And just FYI: It is devoted, dedicated breeders/show breeders that are contributing names and DNA and blood to research, so that genotyping and IDing the suspect chromosomes/DNA that is getting us closer to the answers we are desperately looking to find......it is NOT the people that are breeding mutts that are devoted to irradicating diseases from the purebred breeds. They have their OWN agendas. As for outcrossing...you outcross to different blood within the breed, from a different line, NOT by mixing a different breed into the mix!

To the OP, I do not believe that mixing breeds will make dogs healthier.

There are some breed clubs that I do have to wonder what they are thinking. The Charles cavalier spaniels are such sad cases. The majority of them have horrible genetic neurological problems.

GSDs -- I had no idea until recently that it was preferable for them to walk with their tails practically between their legs and their rear ends dragging. Why would anyone think this is desirable?

Well isn't the OP quite the little googler.

Anyone can write anything on Wikipedia. It's not a reliable source.

Just give it up. No one here is going to believe the crap you're spewing, and hopefully, you will show your a$$ enough to scare off anyone thinking of buying from you, I know I never would.

Hey Sherri that's true, I have one on there on how throw pillows came to be. Speaking of which I just went to Target and a lady in there showed me how to make no sew pillows. Have you ever seen them?

I haad chicken Tacos at Mighty Taco and left my cherry empenada's on the table :( I guess I will have to eat this bag of m&m's!!

Well, that's one less headache for you! The chicken tacos sound good, maybe I'll make some of those tomorrow if I stay home.

Yeah they were good, what is your local Taco Shop? I forgot to tell you they finished the AC and Furnace yesterday...

Tomorrow the tree cutter is coming to take the rest of that tree down.
