sounds like it could be anytime now... don't think much to keep our little ones from taking notice of the postman :D
Did you get the pm I sent? it has all the details on that web link about temperature taking and other advice.

Aww thank you :) I will go and check my messages, still getting used to this website.
I am taking Tinkerbell to the vets at 5pm just to get her checked over and make sure everything is ok. She seems really down today and just for a peace of mind I want to take her to the vets.
Let you know how she gets on :)

Hi, it takes a while to get the hang of this place, it has so many headings :)
Im pleased you going to the vets, hopefully it will put your mind at rest. Bless her, she will be out of sorts, her little hormones will be all over the place

Hi,
I figured out where to find your message...eventually!! Thanks so much for the link, I have read it all and shown my husband. :)
The vet said Tinkerbell was fine and nothing to worry about and she expected her to be in labour in the next 24 hours!!!, eek :eek:

Pleased you found it, this was like my bible :D Molly so much as huffed the wrong way, I would read it all over again lol.
Oh not long.... pleased it went well at the vets, best to be safe

Today she has been nesting more in her whelping box and spending a lot of time in there. There is definitely milk there too, going for pees more frequently etc.
I've spoken to my vet tonight and she thinks 'we should see action tonight'!!
If nothing then we have to take Tinkerbell to see her tomorrow (again)
So all fingers and toes crossed tonight please!!!! :)

Thanks for all the advice, makes me feel better.
And yes, this is both mine and Tinkerbells first litter. This is the only litter she will have. And I'm not selling the pups!! If she was having 6 there might be a problem but she is having 2 so they will both be mine too :)

Good luck with the whelping. I hope you have everything you need to assist in the whelping of these puppies. If not then someone needs to go out and get them. You have to be prepared for the worst. How big is your girl? Do you know that a breech birth is not uncommon. Are you able to pay for a c-section if necessary. One of our girls needed one on a Sunday. The emergency vet wanted $2400. I had one puppy out of that litter.
Whelping Yorkie puppies is scary. I hope you have someone that has done it before to help you. Don't hesitate to take your girl to the vet.
Please keep everyone posted. Praying for an easy whelp and healthy puppies.

Looking for an update....like I said 3 days ago, this being her first litter, she could drag on for 4-5 days....maybe even longer! You are in close communication with your vet, so that is good!
