I will ask again...U say your pups are registered with the CKC....since you are in the States, I assume you mean Continental Kennel Club and not the Canadian Kennel Club....the Continental Kennel Club is not a reputable registry, as you can register a table with them. Why do you not register your pups with The American Kennel Club (AKC), one of the three reputable registries in the United States???

That is what my dogs were when I bought them so that is why there pups are ckc I didn't know that makes my pups no good

You can register literally anything with that registry, any 'breeder' worth their weight would not use that registry...just sayin....I don't know you or your pups....personally I would not purchase from a breeder that registers with the CKC....unless it was the Canadian Kennel Club, as I am Canadian.

it means your dogs could be mixed breeds for all any unsuspecting buyer could know. CKC will register anything

It was posted before the Continental Kennel Club in the USA is just what is known as a "paper" registry.

It is for some breeders who want to skirt around the more strict regulations and requirements of the AKC and UKC in the States.

So when can I look up your health testing on your breeding pair, I will need the kennel name and or their full registered name to see what exactly you have done in the way of health testing on www.caninehealthinfo.org

Glad to see your open to communication. Lori your papers mean nothing. I see you have been on Yt before, your breeding program, your selling tactics etc., are all bad...if you have a true passion for the breed, for a good reputation for doing so, stick around here and read and read some more...there are so many things your doing wrong. I really hope you do stick around and see why you should stop breeding the pups you have now and learn some more before you go in to breeding again, not only that you may just make some friends!!!

My dogs names are tj deramus and females are Sofie deramus and snicker deramus and the kennel name is ckc am I not suppose to be a member if I am ckc I didn't know I have had nothing but rude comments on here and I really take good care of my pups and follow all rules and find them the best homes

I may have posted my pups on a bad site but I'm a very good breeder my vet will say so also I stay in contact with most of my buyers and stay updated with them my pups may not be akc but I've had no one come back and complain I will only find the best homes if I don't fill right I tell them I'm not comfortable selling this pup to them I don't just sell to any one

Okay thank you for your reply. It is not that you are not supposed to be a member here at Yorkie Talk if you register with CKC, is that this is really really a poor registry. Literally they will register a table as a pure bred dog.

I don't think your kennel name can actually be ckc as they would not approve a kennel name that is the same name as their registry.

For example one of my dogs kennel names is Midnight Solo, and other is Rigair.

Now I will look up on the health database to see if you have done the appropriate pre breeding screening tests that are recommended for the Yorkshire Terrier.

It doesn't make it ok to breed just to breed, your goal in breeding should not be $ You need to have a sound breeding program that is based on betterment of the breed. If your breeding why not breed for what is best for the pups and the breed?

just that fact that you admit to using someone elses pictures claiming them to be your own so you can sell puppies do you think ethical breeders do that

The yorkie is a beautiful, elegant breed. There are so many unethical breeders out there, totally destroying this breed....while the good breeders struggle to educate buyers.
There are many wonderful breeders right here on YT...those breeders do their health testing, know their pedigrees as far back as seven generations (perhaps even further) they know what dam to breed with what sire, to get the best quality pup they can produce. All this to better the breed, not willy nilly and hope for the best. Do you have a mentor, that can help you to become the best you can be?
Please educate yourself further, there is so very much to learn about these babies....please reading the breeding section....had you done your research before hand you would have known that the ckc is not a good registry, and you would have bought your breeding pair with AKC registration.

PS I don't do it for the money I enjoy every thing about it and I stay home with them all day so I have lots of time and love in each one once they are ckc I don't think I can get them akc but I'm sure they are full blooded

How are you so sure?? As was stated in an earlier post, a table....yes a table can be registered with the ckc and listed as a purebred.

I use my friends pic with permission and only if they look like my pups and I let them know when they call it ain't them but they look just like that they are welcome to come see for there self's I don't ship and yes I know a few breeders because they are family and friends that buy most of my pups and a lot of them do look just alike as pups sorry I'm not great at taking pics

how do you know there isnt a mixed breed somewhere in the past. How many generations have you researched the pedigree back

See the person that you got them from isn't reputable either, as they registered them with ckc. Pets registered with the ckc can't be shown...the shows are put on by the AKC.
So you don't know what is in your pups pedigree....there could be another breed in your pups pedigree, you really can't say for sure, unless you have several generations of your pups pedigree.
Personally I would never just take someone's word....I'm not as free with trusting people as I used to be....
My Biewer Jersey came to me with a seven generation pedigree....so I know exactly what is in her background.
My yorkies were bought from someone unethical....I have nothing proving exactly what they are....no papers, no health guarantee...(before I knew better from learning on YT). They are all spayed/neutered and loved as pampered pets.
You essentially have the same thing...you know nothing of their background.

I've been answering all questions asked sorry I'm not ckc I will continue to breed no matter what you say cause I enjoy it and make sure all pups get good homes and if not I will keep them I don't bring in unwanted pups into this world so if you don't want me here to bad I'm not hurting anyone just getting good people good pets to love

You are doing a disservice to this breed, by your breeding practices. You aren't bettering the breed....seems to me you aren't interested in learning ethical breeding practices....IMO I think you need to start over and learn, learn and learn some more about the ethical way to breed Yorkies. Get a mentor, learn from them....maybe they will entrust you with one of their precious babies down the line for you to breed. This could possibly take years for you to earn that trust....clearly you could care less what is said here....you have been given some wonderful information...some posts are from breeders who know what they are talking about...you could learn so much from them.
