Yeah that was my initial though, thats what I told my husband. There have been tuffles over that issue between the two of them before. So, my guess is that Brandi isn't happy with it and we may continue to have issues. :mad:

Ruby handled it very well, nothing but a frinedly warning and than looked to me for my approval.

Good, and yes support your breeding girl, she is by default your Alpha, under YOU, I had the same problem for a bit with my spayed Yorkie Prada and my silky breeder Chanel, once Channel had her second litter the issue dissapeared, she was the breeding alpha female by default. even now she is retired and she still is the matron in charge. all the others are under her..
just keep your eye on them. and keep the spayed female from the litter until they are at least 10 weeks, I had a lady that the spayed female killed the other ones litter at 6 weeks..

Oh My how tragic that must of been. I am keeping them separated, I dont want anything to upset Ruby or take the chance that alfa issue come into play with the safty of the litter. Eye are pealed and gates are up ! Thanks Carmen

Daisy is my only female, I have 2 studs though.Charlie he's so sweet and calm and loves to snuggle, very easy going. Then Tyson he's my little rescue. He can be a little ski dish but very sweet he's kinda a loner just wants to lounge and get treats. Daisy is referred to in the house as " crazy daisy" she is full of energy and loves to give kisses!!! (Even when your not expecting it)

You girls are all ahead of me as far as time goes. It's only 9:38 pm here east coast is three hours ahead so you are all in bed I would think. I enjoy having somewhere to talk about my babies though. Everyone else thinks I have lost my mind I think but I worry and want to make sure that I am doing EVERYTHING I possibly can for them.

not a breeder but will be up all night(at work, don't tell) . Keep us updated. I would love to be there. we'll be delivering babies to night but puppies would be more fun. congratulations.

Crazydoglade: I am from Columbus originally but moved to Ringgold 17 years ago. We are about 6 miles from Chattanooga as the crow flies. I am a nurse; full time ED and part time SICU open heart unit. Sounds like you do OB?

Shandie: any updates? Today is my Huey's birthday, so IMO, it is a good day for puppies!:D
