OK we have some progress finally: She didn't eat all of her dinner, about half and her temp is finally starting to go down. Temp: 10am 99.9 5pm 99.3 8pm 98.4 I think the time out in her whelping box has helped her calm down. Ill check on last time before I go to bed at 12am |

She at 98.6 Eyes are normal no dilation she has been resting and doing a bit of nesting. I expect sometime tomorrow. I'll be on the couch in the mean time just in case she needs me during the night. Good night all and Ill check in in the morning! |
Good Morning; It was a long sleepless night for me. This morning was a chore trying to keep things calm for her as the hubby got off to work and now waiting for my son to leave for school. Update: Its day 67, Shes been nesting throughout the night. She now has the shivers but her pupils are still not dilated. Keeping fingers crossed that we get more progress with her today. |

Her temp is at 98.3 and she has no appetite. We still have a long ways to go ! Thank you for all of your well wishes and show of concern. Its nice to have people who care. Plus I dont mind sharing in our joy even if it can be stressful. I'll check back with an update later this evening. |

Update: Its been an hr since the last of four pups was born (3 boys / 1 girl). Ruby is resting at the moment and pups are nursing. The first pup was the largest and was breach, that was a difficult one for her. There were two bags coming at the same time and I had to assist. . Shortly after the first was born came the second boy and than 45 mins. another little boy who was also breach and the fourth was a tiny little girl. Still on puppy watch, there is the possibility of more to come. |

Thanks everyone ! We have our 5th pup a girl at 9:01. For the most part all went well... 5 pups in just over 4 hrs. |
