Florida Pups Expected Soon: Beware
 
If looking around for new Yorkie pup in next few months in the Florida area, please take heed. A new poster, now no longer a member, described how she had bred a very tiny dam who was only in 2nd heat, so is young and teeny. She interestingly changed her location to completely different part of the country, her original location may be the correct one. So, please insist on seeing the dam to make certain she isn't "3-4 lbs". Hope this is the correct place to post this. I'd hate to see an unsuspecting buyer fall for pups (if they survive) from this greeder. Much wisdom was shared but it fell on deaf ears.

I know, I wish more vets would try to educate, but some people will just find vets that are "breeder friendly." Also, anyone thinking of buying a pup from a tiny, just because the mother is small, it's not guarantee the pups will be small, and in fact that's why it's so dangerous for the mother. Not just the mother and father weights are important, but their brothers and sisters and moms and dads.

Sometimes even though you cleared your cookies, you can find it in "history". It should have all the facebook pages you visited on a certain day.

Sure would be nice to have identifying info. on both the greeder and the vet (if a vet really was involved as she claimed). Poor, poor little mama. Too bad that breeding inappropriately small dams is not a punishable animal abuse crime. It should be! I pray she nakes it through this delivery and is prevented from any subsequent breeding. Wouldn't it also be great if she ended up in a more loving home?????

Agree completely. But until people become educated and then show some restraint over what is so cute and charming, nothing will change. They will justify what they do as they just couldn't help themselves and the greeders will successfully continue.

Me either I use my ipad or cell mostly cause my laptops keyboard doesn't work well I use it's on screen keyboard which really is a pain in the butt

I've been reading your post and it makes me sick to know there's people out there doing this for money to these dogs. I got my baby from this lady, me thinking she was a reputable breeder; then she turned out to be a puppy mill. My darling puppy was sick with kennel cough, ear mites and stomach issues. She now has pancreatitis that she has to deal with all her life. I feel like I've saved my Lucy's life.. I just feel so sad for the others..I'm in Florida and I will keep an eye on the person too.

oh and btw, to clear cookies and history on the ipad, go to settings, go to safari, then you'll see clear history and clear cookies and data. press it and that's it :)

Lol....I guess it's best I don't know who she is. There are some rough areas of Miami dade and we don't wanrpt me getting killed confronting someone who miss treats their pups!

Haha no we don't... The last time I was the we had our car hauler stole with 5 cars on it.... I only noticed it missing AFTER I open our hotel room curtains to see across the way man wheeling a gurney out another hotel room with a body in a white bag and crime scene tape roping off the area :eek:

omg... in Miami??? Horrible. I live way south, close to Key Largo. Very quite and nice. I walk my dogs at night etc. But there are parts that are like any big city, they scare me!!!!

I used to teach at an intercity high school, it sure changed me:eek:

It was a picture of an attacking what looks to be a pitbull, i could be wrong on the breed, with a racial slur....very nasty and offensive...she was banned...
