To be fair Yorkies1 pricing came up because of her statement and the ladies here are so sharp not missing a thing because we have seen things shocking misleading and "come out" time and time and time again. Im not about attacking her but she did completely ignore my questions. Her post raised red flags that have been seen before and red flags as we all know are called such because they are signs of trouble. No thus thread should back off her yes it spun sideways OT...anyways no one has a "bug up their "! Anything. We do not know enough to say anything about this members breeding, her statements were questions and yes it go sideways...this happens. BTW reputable breeders do NOT have lay away plans only wait list or pup deposits...if she is a reputabke breeder as she may very well be she'd be the first ine I've ever heard of offering lay away...in fact reputabke breeders do NOT offer lay away because if you need lay away to buy your dog how can you hobest afford an expensive medical emergency. Rarely people who can afford such things use layaway...people who can afford such, save on their own and then spend. That's my opinion and that will never change on the ideal of layaway for puppy purchasing. I havent looked at her site and I will not until a thread she creates or someone else is actually about her. My statement on layaway is something Id say about my best friend, and is meant in general fir anyone. Again shed be the first reputable breeder Ive ever heard of offering layaway something usually done specifically by puppy mill brokers. |

Bbb recomendation means no one complained yet vet reccomended gee vets go into pup mills and debark euthanise crop ears asminister meds etc and give recomendations...a vet approval is only as quality as the vet paid by the breeder. She may be reputable but these statements in my experience are very subjective Stick around read mo you'll hopefully understand. |

We also have breeders up here in Canada, if I could not get a pup from a breeder up here, I would fly down and pick up my pup myself from yorkiemom1, I do know of ways to get a pup from the U.S. to Canada. Not all people have the money to pay for a pup from a reputable breeder up here either and some do offer lay-away. Again buy your breeder first. I unknowingly bought from a back-yard breeder, luckily both my pups have been healthy....would I buy from her again..no. Would I pay to get a pup from yorkiemom1..yes I would. Because I know these pups would be healthy and she stands behind her pups throughout their lives. Thats enough for me. The lay-away option that she may offer does nothing to deter me...IMO that would be wonderful. |

I dont think anyone would dare group her with RTP. If thats how it was meant thats very wrong I didnt see it that way. I saw it as a side OT back abd forth over her pricing and wording etc. I saw it as wanting clarification to her statement. Again she either missed or ignored my questions but whatever. I do NOT see any reason to lump her anywhere since no one here has a pup from her to share about or ample reason to do so. However I stand behind my statement on layaway as well general comments about BBB and vet approvals. Which again was general and noy neant to slight or approver YM 1 beibg lumped anywhere. Honestly I just wanted to understand her breeding program I had never heard of such beffore well yes a mini schnauzer breeder I know but thats vecause she breeds whites not breed club but AKC accepted |

I don't know if you would classify it as layaway or not but....when I was searching a while back for another pup after we lost Lolita I posted on YT. I had several very reputable breeders offer to let me pay in installments if need be as my finances were not what some peoples are. I carry pet ins. and take very good care of my babies so that was not an issue but initial price was. I for one was very thankful to these people who were kind enough to offer me that help. We all have had to put deposits on our little ones to hold them for us so I don't really see that if a breeder has a puppy for 6 weeks after we do that, that they will take payments until we pick them up it is a bad thing.
