I have bought 3 yorkies from Elizabeth James. She is a wonderful breeder. Her dogs are from champion bloodline and are beautiful, healthy dogs. I look forward to doing business with her again. If you are looking for a great example of the yorkie breed than Elizabeth James is the lady to contact.

Exactly but here at YT we are to smart for all that;)

Seems more than a lil suspicious when someone's very first post isn't an introduction of themselves, but is to rave about a specific breeder :confused:.

I understand that people say that they have had bad experiences with Elizabeth but that is not my case here. I had no bad experience at all. A friend of mine referred me to her and I love my babies that I bought from her.

Wow. It saddens me to see these bad posts. Elizabeth James is my grandmother. She has raised dogs for as long as I can remember. I have never seen her harm an animal. She is an amazing woman and my hero. Her dogs are spoiled rotten. They live in her house, sleep in her bed, and even get chicken over their dog food. My grandmother cares a lot about her dogs. She is a 79 year old woman who has had a tough life. She can sound rude or short but that is just her personality. She doesn't put up with nonsense. I have seen her turn down customers because she doesn't think they will take care of her puppies. Her dogs do have pedigrees. I know this because I organize her paperwork. And if she gets confused on which puppy is which or how old it is because she is almost 80! She doesn't get confused often though. Deposits are non-refundable! If you do not follow through you will no get your deposit back. That is how it works but I know that my grandmother would not just take someone's money and not sell them a dog. And for all the people that have had "bad" dealings with her just complain because they didn't get their way. There are a lot of terrible people out there now a days. People that want to start problems. People that run puppy mills and beat animals. I can promise you that my grandma is not one of those people. She is just a tough skinned little old lady that has to deal with slander from a few rude and unpleasant people. If anyone has any questions I would be willing to answer them. Thanks you.

I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately there are so many people who just cannot be happy for someone else who is doing a great job and always look for something bad to say. You really shouldn't pay attention to all those haters, just be happy with the honest positive feed-backs.
I am sure your grandma is a lovely lady that loves her dogs and pampers them like her own babies :)

So this website you posted is yours? You do realize there is no such thing as a teacup puppy right its just a word you are using to jack up the prices of your puppies.

Please no one looking for a puppy buy your puppy from here it screams puppy mill.

I've always viewed "teacup" as purely a very unfortunate marketing term. Wish you'd reconsider using it on your site. If we look at what the word "teacup" has done to small breeds, it's very hard to see it used and very difficult to understand why people continue to use it. At least think about it :).

Staryorkie, where do your dogs stay? It looks like you breed a lot of different breeds. Do your puppies live in kennels or your home?

I clicked on the links, went to the sites and I am overwhelmed with sadness today...by the way, the photographer you hired @StarYorkie really should notice things like nails that are tooooooo freaky long before he snaps the shot and posts it...

And to the dear Grandaughter, your grandma sounds as though she is tired and needs a rest, her confusion etc., is not uncommon for some at her age and should not be taken lightly, perhaps you and/or your family should urge her to retire and enjoy the rest of her life. I'm not as concerned about the paperwork problems she is having as I am the care of the pups shes breeding, I'd hate for something to happen to them due to your grandmothers declining "mental" health.

Is this new member here just to advertize for someone? They give no information about themselves or their dogs. Kind of strange to me.:confused: I'm not a "hater" but I am concerned about a person joining YT just to promote someone else and yet does not mention the wonderful pet that they say they have.

My grandmothers love is for her animals. She does not have a declining mental state! She can be forgetful just like any other person. She is a healthy woman and she will retire when she sees the time for it. None of her animals are in any harm. She has never had an animal taken from her because of unfit living conditions or even received a warning. She takes great care of her dogs. I came on this site to say that yes she may have upset a few people but you can't please everyone. The people on here are bad mouthing my grandmother and they are lies. Her animals are her babies. They are very healthy and spoiled rotten. She is NOT a bad breeder. She is not a puppy mill. Her dogs live in her house with their own personal dog beds. The slander on this site about my grandmother is ridiculous!

Send the granddaughter a Private Message and perhaps she will pass it along.

It is always very suspect, with due good reasoning, for those of us familiar here to be suspicious of a first time post about a specific breeder singing their praises; no pictures no introductions nothing but breeder promotion.

Newbies should beware of this and exercise due caution and search a little deeper.

I don't care if its my own grandmother I advocate for those whom cannot advocate for themselves-all I have to say.

It is quite possible and has been subject to many litigation both civil and criminal.
Slander implies detrimental falsehoods being spread in an attempt to defimate character or manufacture statements without truthful knowledge.

Slander is impossible on a webbased forum where you type posts. You were close though with the definition! Slander is oral utterance of false or malicious utterances etc...... I do think, however; there are certain protections afforded on an open forum against LIBEL, perhaps I'm wrong. But I do know if has been tested many times on another forum I'm on (unrelated to animals) and it has not been successful. Admin owns this site. But I will ask them and get back to you!

AND my dear, I think you are soooo right, or close enough anyway!!!
