I was looking to try to find a post from you to see how you little girl was doing.......Did she have her puppies yet?? Peyton is doing ok, if you can say ok. She looks so sad and like she is not in love with life right now.
Them BIG BROWN EYES looking at you so sad... Telling me what did I do to her.

Mollie had her babies 3 - 5 days earlier than we anticipated and as everyone knows all went well as you can tell by looking at Wyatt. Hang in there and good luck.

As of right now no puppies...........YET!!!!!!!!
I am doing the temp. 3 times a day and it went back up today to 100.00
then yesterday it was 99.0 all day.
So I dont know when this is going to happen. I just can't wait.

yes she had her pups... 3 all boys.. i posted a couple of different places.. pics and all.. under my yorkie... my new lil momma.... Her temp didn't help me out any... it did what yours is doing.. but abbies were early.. for some reason.

In my research and experience, there is no set due date, just as in human deliveries. At best, we have some guidelines but they are not cast in stone. If I am mentoring my instructions are this...the expected whelping dates can be anywhere from the 58th (+ or-) day after the first tie to 64th day from the last. Given that many choices, one certainly has to be right...LOL..
Also when a mom is carrying a large number of puppies, she will be like a woman who has triplets---the babies can and usually do, come early..
It is true that the temp usually drops within 24 hours before active labor starts. But, it is also true that the muscle contractions of labor will start the temp back up toward normal. Nature is so wonderful and the puppies have to be kept warm. That might explain one of the reasons the temp goes back up..
Breeding is not an exact science and there are many challenges but worth it...Good Luck

wow, I did not know that. Thanks for the info...helps me so much.
I have been taken her temp all day today, i think that 4 times it went as low as 98.6 and then back up to 99.7. I have been keeping a good eye on her and dont think that anything is going to happen tonight.
But we will see, today is 59 and still going.

It has been up and down all day and now it has been 98.9 most of the night.
I am going to see one more time tonight and let me rest as much as I can.
That is what she has done most of the day.
