Sick puppy I live in Las Vegas and came on yorkie talk to find a good breeder to get a second yorkie. I was told to go online to yorkie match he is a good breeder and the puppies are great. True to the persons word the dogs are too cute the site is nice the whole shebang. Rite off I feel in love with a picture of a cute little girl :p.I gave a deposit and made plans to drive all the way to AZ to pick her up in the next few weeks. Once we where there and given the baby I asked why she had to hair on her tail. I was told she had poop on it and he pulled a little to much and her hair came off. The kids where so happy to have her.All the way home she kept pulling and tugging on her ear. The next morning we took her to our vet to get her a full check up. We where told she had ringworm really bad, that was why she had no hair on her tail and the tugging on her ear. I don't know what to do as far as this breeder. |
Hello and welcome to YT. First I would ask if your post could be moved from the Photo forum of YT. You will get many more response if you post in the correct forum. I would contact your breeder and tell him that the puppy had ringworm. He is responsible for paying vet bills for your sick puppy. Did you sign a contract at purchase? Ringworm is contagious from animal to human. Did the vet explain this to you at the appointment? What is the name of your breeder? |
Wow, if someone told me they pulled hair too hard to get poop off it and the hair came off I would have run the other direction! You need to contact this "breeder" and tell them what your vet said. Ringworm is highly contagious and VERY hard to get rid of! |
OK, the mom weighs 3.2 lbs and the sire is 2.6?! If that is true that is extreme cruelty! Oh yes they take paypal they can take your money, but not take care of things when you need them to call you back. We love her and sick or not we are going to keep her and make sure she is healthy, but he can call me back. |

Yes I was on YT asking about puppies and was told by someone they got one from Jason Hill and how great the baby was. They gave me his site and everything. He needs to be shut down. The vet told me that her ringworm was so bad the place she was in had to be filthy. |
Who was the person who referred you to him? Perhaps it really was him?? My guess it is probably not an active member, but someone who is lurking. |
Aww. I'm sorry that your little puppy came to you with a problem; but I'm glad you are getting it taken care of and giving him a good home. The breeder sounds like there were a lot of red flags there and people should perhaps think twice before formally recommending such a breeder. But, you have him, and you love him and no one can change that now. |

im sorry ur puppyhas ringworms! my coco might have ring worms but right now we'rejust playing the waiting game... hang in there and with creams and meds ur puppy will be good |

The mere fact that he usues the word "funnest" in one of his comments about his dogs puts red flags up. Then again, I'm nit picky. Heh, but I really would like to know who recommended a "Tcup" puppy website. |

I was on here in May asking about a puppy. I read differant things people where saying and was told to go to him, it was not via PM. I wish I looked at things closer but sorry I don't remember the persons name. This is our first time shopping this way, and I really don't do alot of chatting on the web. I can say I will be more on the look out next time. |
