We already have too many pet quality yorkies, breeders should only be breeding to improve and preserve the breed. Joey's breeder told me I'd probably be getting lots of offers for Joey, and she was right, but these wantabee breeders don't tell you that you're little boy will change drastically once he's had sex. Also, it's possible to get a sexually transmitted disease even if it's the first time for both. If I were you, I'd have my boy fixed ASAP, neutered dogs are so much less likely to run away or sustain injuries due to car accidents. Don't feel bad about thinking about doing this, most of have, but as soon as we really investigated the subject we learned that it's a really horrible idea, and you become the ignorant backyard breeder that's destroying the breed.
I agree with the others, Benny is adorable, but remember, it takes so much more than just cuteness to be a good candidate for breeding. |
