Well I hope that is the right kind of milk but I'll double check with the vet. I couldn't ask the breeder I got her from because she lives real far.. So using a lamp would be better ? Would a lamp for a reptile work if needed ? |

Many of the breeders here use this recipe with great success, it uses goat's milk, which I believe in your country is found in Wal Mart's. |
You might call some area Vets to see if you can get the phone numbers of yorkie breeders and hopefully find one who might be able to help you with the whelping process. |
I had a space heater right beside their bed. As for the whelping box a childs plastic pool would work for the first few weeks. It will be easy for your little momma to get in and out of but not the babies. If they were anything like mine it was right at 3 wks they started to climb out. Good luck. |

Remember you will have to put the whelping box off the ground. Cold and draft drops.....you will need to keep these pups from getting chilled....they cannot regulate their own body temperature for the first 3 weeks of their life.....a chilled pup is a dead pup. |
No i haven't read that one I'll go read it Now but I did read Debbie jensen's page it was very helpful for me . I will call some vets today and see if I can find a experienced yorkie breeder. Well I think I'm gonna use the reptile lamp better |
