I'm as sick over this situation as the rest of you. It is unreal! I'm almost afraid to see what tomorrow will bring. God help her. |

No way would a good vet tell someone to come in the next day. Or just give them a calcium pill without a exam! Something sounds fishy to me. |
This person is sick, too bad a little yorkie has to suffer because of her. Gee, people always wonder why I only sell with spay/neuter contracts!!!!!!! I'm always asked why would you put a show quality puppy in a pet home and not want it bred. THIS IS WHY!!! Sparklingbluyorkies.com |

I hope she had a good, peaceful evening. How is she this morning? Will you be able to find a way to get her in to the vet today? Bonny |

I think this may be exactly the problem - she sounds very young, immature and scared. If so, she probably doesn't have a clue what to do in this situation. I'm not defending this situation in anyway, but her profile does show she lives in a small town - one that may not have taxi service. I don't know either of these things for a fact, but if I'm right the fault lies with the parents for not rushing this pup in for immediate care....not with a frigtened young girl. A girl who may need our help even more today IF she can get her parents to take this little one to a vet. The internet may have been her only way of getting help. If I'm wrong, then I'm in full agreement with everyone else here and I'll apologize to you all for my assumptions. I see it as often as everyone else here - people coming to YT for free medical advice, just looking to save a buck. And I HATE it!!! But I've also seen terrified children who couldn't get their parents to listen or to care. Let's try to wait and see which case this is. KAS, please tell us how your girl is doing today. Bonny |
I agree with you Bonbon...after reading this thread, one can only conclude that a person who doesn't understand that pushing & contractions ARE labor must be very young. If that is the case then the vet trip (costs money a youngster wouldn't have access to), no ride (too young to drive), & also probably no access to money for the cab. She is probably scared out of her wits at this point & afraid to post again. Kas--pls update us on her your dog is doing. |
I was to hoping to see some good news about Bailey this morning. Hope all is well. |
Since the poster lives in Minnesota as do I, I was asked to contact her to see if I could help.. I had never heard of her town so I googled.. it's a really small town on the boarder of North Dakota so I'm sure the vet services are not as some of us are used to which may explain some of the problem. I recieved a PM this morning saying that Bailey is on her way to the vet so I hope all is well. There was nothing else in the PM regarding her condition so I'm assuming she is doing OK.. If I hear anything, I'll post the info. I wish I knew more, I'm sorry, I just don't. Diana :animal-pa |
Good! This is my first post on this thread but I have been following it. I cannot even fathom what has been going on with this little momma yorkie in that house. I am sitting back reading all of your threads as not to get banned from what I really want to say. Great job guys!! |
