| ![]() Has anyone heard of using folic acid for cleft palate prevention or do use it in their pg Yorkies?

| ![]() I believe that cleft palate is a recessive trait,so I doubt that folic acid supp would help.Folic acid is important in preventing spinal cord defects in people. |

Thanks for responding. I'm always hearing different information and like to hear others' opinions of such. I think folic acid is used to help prevent cleft palate in human babies...why they push the OJ pre- and during pregnancy. Thanks again, I appreciate your time.
