Your babies are adorable. I know nothing about breeding dogs but in following your thread, you did a wonderful job. Now hopefully you can get a little rest.

They are sooooo cute!!!!!!!! So glad all turned out well. A few small bumps but in the end a healthy momma and 4 beautiful babies. So I gather from the pictures that she is now home and nursing all the babies? I bet after a little rest she was ready to be a momma. Still make sure she is eating and drinking...if she won't leave to get it herself then you will have to bring it to her. And make sure you get a little rest too. You did a wonderful job and I am glad I was able to be there with you....well on the phone with you. LOL Never have I had so much excitement at work before. :D Keep me updated and I am working tonight if you need anything....you have my number.

Awwww.....the babies are beautiful..congratulations!!!!

Thank you everyone... just a quick update about the day- Momma is being amazing, she doesnt want to get out of the crate for NOTHING! Just to go outside & do her business & even doing that she hurries up & runs right back inside, she came out to eat real quick which was her puppy food, with nutro ultra puppy canned food & her mutli vitamin, she just prounced (misspelled) on my old man as he walked from the kitchen to the living room about 5 feet away from the cage, I was like whoa, thank God I was in the way before she did any damage. The funny thing is the ONLY one she hasnt had an issue with getting somewhat close is daddy.. her daddy. She is doing great though I will def post more pics later, BTW the puppy that died- that gender was unknown :(

Anyhow I am def going to rest though I just woke up from a 4 hr nap. Thanks.

I am so very happy for you. I know throughout the labour that time passes SO slowly & I would have moments when I would question my sanity. But then you take one little angel at a time, into your hand and examine them from nose to tail, and breathe a sigh of relief. "Thank you God for allowing me the privilege of being a part of this little angels life. Bless his paws & licks, because this angel will brighten someone's life. I don't know where his paws will take him, but I do know the Creator who's allowed me to have these moments with him." Enjoy!

SO I was 1/2 asleep all night, its like being a real mother, you sleep but any little noise from the puppy wakes me up & I stay awake long enough to make sure he/she stops crying, but momma knows how to calm them down real quick, then I can sleep again. I was surprised she didnt cry this mornign to be let out of the cage, so I woke up at 650AM & took her out, O she was happy to get out of there for 5 mins. We then gave her a bath b/c she was so dirty & was given the go ahead from the vet to do so.. & WOW she looks soooo skinny!

I got to inspect the puppies again & its so funny to see how I was the one who raised her since she was 3 wks old, & I would take a puppy & 20 seconds later shed walk upto me to see/ smell the puppy & lick my hand & then sit down, but her attn to me as im taking the puppy away- her mom wasnt like that! Found that one of the boys after all is different than the other, he has this little tiny white on his chest, which I guess you can see better now after momma has licked them super clean... & then our 1st born boy, is a little chunky monkey already :) So things are moving along... thanks all for the constant support! I will keep ya updated!
