good luck with your baby, I hope all goes well  |
Yes, how did this tale resolve? Was the female pregnant? Did you get the shot? How did this all turn out? Anyone know? |
I was wondering the same thing! |
Hey, I was wondering, would you recommend getting your yorkie fixed? I have two dogs, one female sheltiexgolden lab and a mixed terrior both of whom are fixed. Nelly is so small, I am kind of scared to put her through the surgery if she does not need too, what do you guys out there recommend. How old do they have to be to go in heat and do they bleed much? If she is not around other dogs that are fixed should I not worry about it and leave her, the bleeding is a big thing for me though, I have two kids and dogs that well not to be gross, but would they lick it up, our sheltie mix would eat anything. |
I would not get her the shot. At 9 months & 5lbs she should be all right. |
No...I did not get the shot. I took her to my vet and he said she is very strong and perfectly healthy and should not have any trouble (I took the male with me so he could see the daddy too). He still could not tell if she was pregnant yet for sure. It was still too soon to palpate (sp?). He tried, but didn't feel anything. If she is pregnant, which I'm almost positive she is, she is at 30 days today. I'm kind of excited now :D I will keep you updated! |
