Looking for reputable breeder with male We are looking for a reputable florida breeder with a male to be ready in late november, early december. Can someone point me in the right direction? I have already emailed most of the breeders from the YTCA site and have not heard back yet. Thank you |

Keep in mind these breeders do not breed for the purpose of selling puppies, so they don't breed often. They breed first themselves, in hopes to produce their next Champion to their breeding program. That being said, they do have a waiting list. Oh! FYI they don't place puppies during the holiday season. |

If they do not have anything available they may know another breeder who does. Just be sure to know and buy your breeder first. :) Good luck! :D |

But, being a YTCA member I do know how most of them operate. We learn from the same page. |

We have a wonderful 3 yr old male to place...neutered and housetrained. His owner has had a change of home situation and needs to find a good home. He is 6 pounds, champion sired, but that means nothing since he is neutred..silk coat, non-aggressive, loves kids and other dogs. PM if interested. |
even neutered I think champion sired is good---- Quote:

I guess I should not have said being champion sired meant nothing...he is simply a pet and a very pretty boy with an underbite...rats!!! |
Search over Thank you all for your replies. Fortunately I have had excellent responses from the caring members of YTCA's breeder list with initial responses through email. You see we recently lost our 14 yr. old darling to complications from renal failure. We did have to go out of state to find our little boy but after speaking with the breeder over the phone and knowing she is a member of the YTCA we feel comfortable in knowing we will be getting a wonderfully sound and stable baby boy. Thank you all again. It's nice to know that there are breeders who consider sharing with loving, caring pet homes. I realize they do not breed often which is why we must go out of state but it is worth it to us for the health and well being of our newest family member. We will pick him up ~ we do not believe in shipping. |

Glad to hear you've found a good breeder from your contacts. :) And as I said before, echoing Mary's advice; you buy your breeder first. It can be difficult to find a pet from a reputable breeder/exhibitor because they breed only for themselves to better the breed. But I can't wait to see your new baby and hear all about him. :D I'm sure he will be perfect. ;) |
Congrats!!! Can't wait to see pic's of your new boy (i bet you can't wait to pick him up:p) |
Finding Reputable Breeder It took time ~ in our grief we cam close twice to choosing a breeder that was not on the YTCA list. There always seemed to be something that did not set right with me and so we continued the search. Most of you who are associated with the YTCA and listed know her I'm sure, though I would rather not divulge who it is until after we pick up the baby. We were determined to do this right and pay a fair price although it is a bit far and I am disappointed in not hearing from more FL breeders listed. Of course after we made the commitment I did hear from a YTCA listed breeder just around the corner from us who has 2 males available. Figures right? Thanks Again. |
