| Yorkie color I have a yorkie almost 2 years old. She is perfectly healthy. However, I noticed when she was young she had a brown cast. This didn't seem right to me because I had a yorkie a few years ago. It looks as though she is having gold hair coming through. I bought her from a very reputable breeder and her dogs are beautiful, but something is really different about my dogs color. Any suggestions? I love her but am disappointed about her coat texture and color. I am now having to cut her in a puppy cut because she matts easily esp. in the gold one her legs. I just love the long silky hair a yorkie is supposed to have. She is very smart and average size of 5 1/2 lbs. |

| purple shampoo It took my Layla forever to finally turn from black to blond. Like 2.5 years. I also use John Paul (of Paul Mitchell) Pet Super Bright Shampoo, which is purple in color and neutralizes unwanted tones while bringing out the blond. |
