So what are you trying to say? Do you believe these mistreated dogs should be put down? Spaying will not solve the problem with an aggressive female. The shelters are full of these abused dogs and I would hope people would adopt them and give them love.

Yes, this is a concern but she is already working taking care of the problem.

All breeding practices are going to be attacked on here because the consensus is no one should breed dogs.

You are so off base it is not even funny...some of the top breeders are on here and they are not happy either about this whole situation. It would appear profits are motivating a lot of people today and who really cares about the dogs.

Respectfully, I would like to say I am a member since 2007 and have never ever said a thing about a breeder cause I really don't know to much about it so I shut up, but how on earth can you give this woman pups knowing all of what you know ?

That is SO untrue. Why is it that when people question breeding practices that are clearly not in the best interest of the pups, some breeders jump up and down and say that everyone is against breeding??

I don't think that's what she was saying at all. I don't think anyone here thinks these dogs should be put down at all. But given the problem she is having, it doesn't seem like adding two new pups is a good idea at this time. Quite honestly, I don't know of any respectable breeder who would knowingly place their dogs in that kind of environment...unless they are more worried about making a sale than the well being of the dogs they are producing.

I don't think anyone here is against breeding...just breeding when the best interest of the dogs and breed in general takes a backseat to other aspects. :)

WHAT?!?! Where in the he!! did you ever get that I was supporting putting mistreated dogs down? I work with a rescue group that bends over backwards to SAVE pups like this one.

My point was not about an aggressive female, although considering her history I can certainly understand and sympathize with the poor girl. Aggression is often the manifestation of fear. This girl was brought in at the age of ONE, already knowing a life of abuse and neglect, and what did the op do? Bred her right off. With the life this little one had, she should never have been bred at all but she never even got a chance to settle in, to get comfortable, to be reassured that she was safe and loved!!! As you said, someone (namely the OP) should have adopted her and given her LOVE, not a life producing stock to pay someone's bills!!

IMO, the OP is the problem! She bred this abused girl while she was still malnourished, and while knowing absolutely nothing of her medical history. How in the world is that the action of a responsible breeder? I wouldn't even allow her to walk my dogs, and you're defending her and sending her two of your precious, innocent puppies?!?!?!

She is in the process of removing the dog. The environment will be free from aggressive dogs before any puppies go there.

How many of you have actually spoken to her? I am positive her dogs are loved and given a wonderful life.

I am sure all of you love your yorkies on here regardless of wether you are a breeder or not. If your baby started fighting with one of your other babies would you want to have to lose this dog you love, I am sure you would be heart broken if you had to get rid of one of your babies as motherhen is.

She came on here because she had a problem asking for help. Maybe someone on here could have offered a loving home for this girl.

It's not just you, Bonny. I can tell you that if a breeder read that woman's posts and wants to send her a puppy, they care more for something OTHER than the welfare of the pups.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink it. And, you cannot make everyone love animals the way that many of us do. It is sadly about money to many of them and no amount of talking is going to change them.

You are not the only one...abuse is abuse and apparently other people think it is ok. Frankly I hope she does pet out this poor girl..Her quality of life has not been good and when someone says they hit a dog with their cane...and people think this is ok is beyond me.

Just more people pumping out dogs without a concern about the dogs...

I am sick of people saying "they love their dogs" and then doing some of these things...They don't love their dogs but love the $$$ that will come in. Someone who loves dogs would never do what has happened here today.

woo hoo looks like I made lots of new friends today. What I am getting at is this is supposed to be a forum to help people and talk about your passion for yorkies not an outlet for people to publicly attack other people. PM her and tell her she is wrong in what she is doing if you feel the need. There are far to many people on here attacking rather than helping.

Yes, I am sure my opinions are unpopular but I have talked to far to many people who were attacked by people on here for things that are not neerly as controversial as what this thread is about.

PLEASE see that this poor thing goes to a rescue where she can be treated the way she should have been all along. She will be spayed and no longer used to pay someone's bills.

If you love her so much, motherhen, show us! PM me and I will arrange for her to go to a rescue.

How do you define "speaking to her?" She offered a ton of information here about the problems she was having, how she treated her dogs, and her motivations for breeding. That was pretty much enough...

And no bonny, you are NOT the only one baffled.
