| Sonogram? Do you take your new mothers to the vets for a sonogram once you find out they are pregnant? |

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Not usually.. I do an xray after day 50. I do have a girl I will take in for a sonogram her next time. I think she absorbed her pups last time and I want to see if that is what is happening.

| I took one in one time. I didn't get much from it because they couldn't tell me that her babies wouldn't fit. X-rays are much better.

| Ultra Sound on girls prior to a girl being bred would provide you more insight to the size of her reproductive area....seeing if she has a enough room to carry pups and whelping naturally. X-rays just prior to pups being born, between days 50 and 55 will give you somewhat of a better idea of how many pups are there.
