Thank you all. I couldn't get good picks of the xrays . But you could see 4 pups very clearly it's just the possible 5th that you can see a spine but the head is hidden.
I am excited. i can hardly wait til next week.

Wow that is a big litter. I wish her a safe whelp. I have never had over 3.. thats my number..lol

Thank you all, I am very surprised by the number also and if I hadn't seen the xray with my own eyes I would have thought they were just estimating. Fridays Mom came from a litter of 5 and she came from a litter of 3. I have been praying daily for her to have an easy whelping and for all the pups to be healthy and that she will be a great mom. I am prepared for whatever happens. Now we just wait.

Melissa she is due anytime now. We think she will have them tonight or tomorrow.

Well she had them today and there were 4 2 boys and 2 girls. Sadly one boy and one girl didn't make it. they were both 2 ozs. the boy and girl that did make it are both at 3 ozs.

Mardelin thank you, It didn't hit me until after we took them out to my Garden and buried them. This is the hardest part about breeding. It is one thing that will make you take a step back and ask yourself if it is all worth it. Then you look at your Mom and her babies and you know it has to be.

Gld to hear that everyone is doing good! I took mine to have tails & dew claws done and the vet secretary said, "Look at all those dinner plates Abby's got", I had to laugh.

Melissa Thank you, it is hard but then I look at the two that are here and know that at least I have them. Now to keep an eye on them to see how they turn out.
