How does the oil help their breath?

Do you give all of your dogs cocanut oil for their coats or fro their breath?

it works for their breath and their coats, so is a double winner.... if you do a little research you will find it, I never give my dogs anything without researching even when my holistic vet suggest it.
start slow with the oil, if you give her too much she will get a loose stool, start with 1/4 teaspoon every other day and slowly bring it up to the normal dose, her breath will be very sweet in about a week....:)

Now another question.. The pups are now 4 weeks old, 5 on Sunday and well they are slowly starting to eat wet(dry) food... and also drink mammas milk.. They do however have problems pooping they are really constipated and takes forever to poop:confused:.. What can we do to make it easier for my young girls to poop? They dont really drink water yet.. Been trying to teach them how but not easy at all..

Any help suggestions are welcome..

I swear, some people should not breed. the first video the lady was irking me when she kept pushing her dog to lay down and rubbing her while she was in active push labor! That pup took to long to get out. (Also, teacup? haha)

Dogs do not lay on their backs with their legs in the air..lol.. whenever my dogs whelp they sit up while pushing, it makes it easier for them to bare down.

And the 2nd one bugged me because she wasn't pulling the sacs off the heads or suctioning. And OMG those were HUGE puppies!!:eek:

Add more water to the food..and add a little oil. I have never had constipated pups so I cannot be much help. I would think that if they are going then they are fine, it will soften up more as they drink more water.

When I brought Daisy home she would not drink water. I put some in a teaspoon and she would lick the water from the spoon. Just a thought:)

congrats on your beautiful healthy girls! so very sorry you lost your lil boy :(

are they still having trouble going poo? I'm pretty sure it's because of the Royal Canine for Yorkies, unfortunately, that is causing this. If you switch them over to a good puppy food, they will hopefully start going poo easier.

yes we will.. We are seeing the vet next week to get an appointment.. No more babies for us!:D

I am so glad everything is okay with her and 2 of the babies. Sorry for the loss of the one though. I hope you have nice homes lined up for those babies. Be very picky and check references, etc. One can never be too picky when it comes to someone taking your babies.

Actually we have decided that we cannot give up the girl and we will keep them both. So we will be one big happy doggie family of 4!

Ahh one of the dangers of having babies...you just cant part with them. Well get them all spayed for many wonderful years of doggie love...congrats again..;)
