2 Attachment(s) Hi Guys Just an update from Pookie... She still havent given birth.. We are taking her to the vet tomorrow for an additional check up.. I have attached some pix of her really big tummy.. We think this week it will happen. |
oh my goodness she is so small..:(.. I would be scared to death. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers for a safe delivery for her and those pups. please keep us updated on her... ((hugs)) |

Just got back from the vet. Pookie is looking very healthy and the puppies are very healthy as well. They still cant decide if they need to do c-section. They claim that they will only know on the day itself. The pups may still change position etc going into labor. Told us to keep feeding her well and take her for good long walks to keep her strong. |

For the past 4 hours she has been very very quiet. Trying to sleep but not really falling asleep. She has a sad look on her face as well. Max is constantly by her side. More than usual. Am I imagining things or could this be the beginning? Both kids are in our bed sleeping now. Have anyone experience with this??? |

False alarm. So far nothing happened last night. We will have people with her all day today looking after her while we are at work. |

Well so far she sleeps alot. Pretty much all she does. Still eats but still has her sad look on her pretty little face. |
1 Attachment(s) here she is.. She is really growing bigger everyday.. Was active last night but vomited this morning.. Since then she has been eating well and mainly sleeping.. Been trying to walk her with Max but when she is done peeing and pooping she wants to go inside. I guess she is just too heavy to walk around now. |
I know she is miserable. I will be praying she has a safe whelping. |
What can I do to make her feel better ? Vet doesn't want to force an operation and I'd prefer natural birth if possible. Any suggestion to make my baby feel better is welcome!!!! |

She wasnt really vomiting.. Just gagging... Nothing came up.. Done that many times before during her pregnancy. We dont know her due date.. This wasnt planned.... But be soon! Nesting.... Not really... She sometimes digs in her bed or our bed... But nothing crazy.. This evening she has been playing ball with Max.... Funny to sell her half run & walk cause she is soooo fat! One thing i noticed is that she has really bad breath... Might be the mix of wet food that we give her.. Or is that a typical preggers syndrome? |

Do you have a x-pen or separate room for momma to stay in when she has her pups and afterwords? Some of my females will start growling at the yorkies when they are in the early stages of labor. Once she is in labor you will need to keep the male away from her. |
Yes we have a pen and extra room. Will keep her in our bed room I think |

I have been thinking about this little soon to be mama all day. Pray she is doing alright. |
nothing so far.. We are hoping that she will give birth this weekend so we are home with her all the time.. But you never know with this girl. She is full of surprises. The pups are getting big now.. We can feel them move around. Pookie pees alot now.. Usually when walking she pees 1 time now she goes 4 times and before she was playing with Max and suddenly sat down to pee on the floor.. Now she is just sleeping again! |
