After 15 minutes of tossing and turning in the bed last night, I came down stairs for some milk, and I found Ellie in her box and she was as rigid as stone. Everyone appreciated the bottle this morning with the exception of the largest one. He still wants the teat. I am going to try to put a little karo syrup on the nipple and see if he takes it.

Is it a good idea to get her spayed? She had a litter before and she developed matisis, other than that, she was fine. I'm so torn as this has never happened to her before. Any words of advice is greatly appreciated.

I get pups pretty often that have white on the chest and white tipped toes. I know they are not carriers. The white eventually goes away and turns to gold.

I always give 1/2 calcium tablet in the am and 1/2 before bedtime, per my vet. I am glad you are getting her on a different dog food, that will make a big difference. Also, for a calcium supplement, I prefer the Doc Roy's Healthy Bones from Revival.
