| Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Good morning how is she doing this morning? I am getting us ready to head out to the vet. my son said this morning that you should take her in, that she needs to be seen by the vet. it could be that she is close to give birth but it also could be a detached placenta. I will check again when I come home. hugs, carmen in nj |

| Well we called the emerg. vet at 6 am this morning. Bella had the green discharge all night at about 5am, something came out but went right back in! We thought maybe the water bag. Bella didnt seem to be bothered just alot of licking. ER vet said for us to take her to regular vet as soon as they opened. We got there at 7:30 sharp. Long story short Bella had to have a csection she had 5 puppies ... one was stuck in the birth canal it was a not fully formed puppy pretty mushy. The 3 girls started crying pretty quick. Our one boy took a little longer but he started crying and pinked up. Thank goodness we took her when we did that dead pup could have killed them all. Bottem Line Green Discharge BAD stuff! Our Vets office was so great they had 3 girls working on the puppies as the Dr. Delivered them. I think my husband is still in shock on how they swing the pups down to clear the fluid out of the lungs

| Hi Marc, Mom has been doing ok she was shivering pretty bad about 3 I made her drink some water. She has had 1/2 tums and 1 scrambled egg and a little bit of Cesars wet food but she had yet to drink some water till 3. we have done a little power aid to just to make sure she is hydrated . I think the pain meds have worn off. Shes pretty sore... she letting those babies nurse and cleaning them . I have to that are not real great at latching on so we are working on that. We got some puppy formula from the vet with a bottle so we cant teach them to latch on and suck.Carmen 5 to 6 WOW !!!

| Congrats on the babies. I am sorry that you had to have a c-section, but hopefully everything will continue to go well.

| Carmen, that's what I had to do for Ellie and it's working like a charm. She wouldn't really eat anything either, but now she is gobbling down the food.
