well now she is laying sprawled out on the back of my couch...shes been laying flat all day pretty much and when i pick her up she moans...so idk
we are still on watch....i don't think i have ever consumed so much coffee and ROCKSTAR in my life!

he,he, waitings seems to be the worse part of whelping... Chanel's first due date is sunday so I will be right there with you... I am piling up on coffee and snacks.. I eat when I get nervous..LOL

OMG. girl that is so funny... well I guess My chanel is like that too I just fixed her breakfast while I am here having my coffee and she is attacking it like she has not been fed in a month..LOL so I guess we are not having puppies today...

she's good...super clingy and stares at me 24-7
idk, i gave her a bath last night because her whooey was still goey so i wanted to clean her up....and her tummy doesn't feel as round and hard anymore but her nipples and other stuff is soft..

her temps have been varying from 100-101...to 99.8, 99.3 and this morning it was 99 so idk. she hasn't been nesting lately but still lays around

She will probably go this weekend. That's what Ellie did. She waited 2 days after her bath to go into labor and get all messy again. I pray that everything goes well.

but is her getting all soft (tummy and vulva area) relevant? would that mean anything?

They probably just dropped. I know that the vulva area usually gets really soft so that it can dilate. It gets a little bigger too.

idk, waiting on vet to call me now...gonna try to see if he can do an U/S to at least make sure the babies are still living. if not then he will def do the spay/abort

thank you...i'm praying too. i love my dog so much. she's my girl. my best friend and can't imagine life without her. it hurts me to see her up and down like this. it's hard to believe that dogs have been giving birth unassisted for years and now, they have become so domesticated that they can't do anything without our help. pregnancy and delivery in dogs has become so heartwrenching and difficult. i am definately not gonna put her through this again.

Did I miss something? Why do you think they are not living? Can you feel any movement?

My girl acted weird for serval days before. She would moan and was very nervous. The day she delivered I was really worried because I could only feel 2 pups move. I feared the worst but I guess it was further down that I couldnt feel because everything turned out alright.
