Okay, we are off to the vet this afternoon for x-rays. Can you guess how many pups are in there before we get back tonight?:rolleyes:

My guess is 2.

Her belly is so tight I can feel a pup when I'm rubbing her belly. She has so much milk too! I'm suprized she hasn't started leaking all over my bed yet.

Well we're done at the vets and I'm at my mothers house posting this update. I will attach the x-ray later tonight. It only showed one pup!

Wow, just one huh? I would have guessed at least 2, maybe 3. You think I would have known better having just had a singleton litter of my own 7 weeks ago. :rolleyes: The last picture you posted is the one that made me think there were more.

I'm anxious to see the x-ray picture and to hear the vet's report. Did they say it was large? Do they anticipate any problems whelping? Must not have or you probably would have said something. I wish you as smooth of a labor and whelp as Halle had; Halle is 6 1/2 lbs pre-pregnancy and free-whelped her 6 3/4 ounce baby boy. Good luck to you!:thumbup:

Here is the x-ray. They only did a side view, and the vet said she could only feel one. I have only felt one moving when she is getting her lovings. The vet didn't really seemed concerned about the size of the puppy, just said that if my girl was pushing for two hours and no pup to take her in. She also said that in this case ( a singleton) that I could opt for a scheduled c-section. I told her no on that, I want to give her a chance to have it normaly. She seemed suprised that I was as knowlegdable as I was about what was going on, that I knew her due date, and that I was as prepared as I am. Now she is not my normal vet, I guess my vet had the day off cause I asked for my vet. Anyways time to cut it short and get the x-ray up.

Monday is day 63 from her first tie. She's been sleeping a lot more, but is still acting like her shelf most of the time. She's not to keen about me taking her temp twice a day. She ran from me this morning. I would run too!! So now I am playing the waiting game with her. I haven't gone to bed till 11 pm at night now and have my alarm set for every 2 hours to check on her. I guess its a way to get me prepared for the nights ahead. Thanks for the prayers of a safe whelp!

Boy I almost think I see a second one in the xray.... but either way, best of luck on an easy and healthy pup or pups! :p

My boy was an only fur child and his mother weighed 10 pounds. I wonder how many YT members have a baby that was an only child?
