Maybe she has another hiding along side that pup that is all streached out in there .
NOrmal for them to look big on a x-ray when there is only one they have it all to themselves :)

I have had sinleton litters they are very special little ones who will want alot of your attention.
Mine have never went over in DD with a sinlgeton and have whelped them fine.
She sure does look like she has enough milk for a few.

Attached is a pic of Kalina's x-ray. I circled the skulls. It looks like two puppies but it is actually three puppies. The bottom two puppies are lying juxtaposed. Maybe you have two puppies in there.

Yes, it does look like a big puppy, but it seems to me you are prepared and have a good game plan. Congrats and good luck! :)

Oh, she already had them on August 2 - 2 girls and 1 boy. They were premature and the littlest girl didn't make it, unfortunately. The other two are the puppies in my avatar - Sebastian and Gidget. The whelp itself was extremely fast and easy. I just wanted you to see the x-ray where the two puppies actually only looked like one puppy.

Thank you for the x-ray to look at. I did see three without you circling the heads. That would be hard to tell without having a good eye. My girl had her puppy friday night by c-section unfortunatly we lost her. She had drowned for about 20 minutes before they got to her. When they got her out she wasn't breathing and no heart beat. They brought her back with cpr and she lived for about 3 hours. She then died after going into respitory arrest. Rip my poor Miracle.

I am so very sorry! RIP Miracle. I know how heartbreaking it is to lose a puppy. My heart broke when Petunia didn't make it. I cried for days over her and was worried sick for the two tiny ones remaining. How big was miracle?

She was 3.9 oz. My girls pelvic space was as big as a guys pinkie, and Miracles head was about two thumbs wide put together. So there was no way that she could have had her naturally. I'm just gald that my momma is doing well now. She keeps looking for her all over the house, but has gotten less frequent about it. Its sad to see her do that, but I know that she will soon heal from her broken heart.

That is so sad. Kalina did that with Petunia but, fortunately, had the other two to keep her occupied. It's just heartbreaking but I'm happy your little mommy is doing well.
