My girl turned her nose up to dinner & treats last night. She running around looking in corners and behind things and I figured this is it. She seemed excited. I got everything ready and turned on the heating pad. Gave her some nutrical and she quit all of that behavior, ate & fell asleep in my bed. Its funny what nutrical can do. |

I have a question about vitamins and calcium. Should I start giving my little some as soon as after her whelping??? during her whelping. I tried asking the vet, they just tell me to keep her on her regular diet. They even told me to not change her to puppy food and they didn't even ask what kind of food she was on. Sigh, now is not the time to wish I had a better vet! So help, I need some advice. I'm getting very very nervous and scared. |
2 Attachment(s) Well, we go for x-rays in the morning. I am so excited. My husband will be taking her because I have to go to work. You guys wouldn't believe how crazy everything has been lately. I will update everyone as soon as I get the chance. Wish us luck, again she is due on the 17th. By the way, have to share the new belly pictures. I hope no one minds..... |

Well according to the vet, he sees 5. That's how many she had last time. I can't wait to find out for sure. |
Well, there's definitely 4. When I first clicked on the second xray picture my initial reaction was 5, but since then I've lost where I may have seen the fifth. Did your vet point them out to you? The four are obvious, but where is the fifth one? |
I didn't get to go with my husband, but according to the vet there are 3 on the right side and 2 on the left. It's difficult for me to see them too. I wish I would have gone with him, but the job just wouldn't let me. |
puppies ;):(i know you all have been waiting to hear . jazzy had her puppies yesterday much excitment first one boy (breach had to pull him ) 6oz. at 9:45 am nothing else made call to our vet , she had me give her oxytocin shot to stimulate contractions nothing still . when to office another shot still nothing , we xrayed still 3 puppies inside all curled up and not moving down . so we C sectioned her . second one boy 5.5 oz. third one boy 4.5 oz last one little tiny girl 3.5 oz today mom and babys all doing fine sure glad thats over just goes to show you anything can happen and you need vet on standby jazzy last was a breeze 2 boys will post pictures if i every learn how :animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa:animal-pa |

I don't know about you all but I have lost it!!!! The next 2 days are going to kill me for sure!!! Tayah is a trooper!! Just when I think something is going to happen.....................NOTHING!!! LOL!!!! She is due on Thursday. I have a feeling she is going to hold off until then. Her and I could have 2 days left and I have not had sleep for the past 2 days so far!!!! Wheeeew!!!! Maybe there is a lesson to be learned here!!! PATIENCE!!:D |
2 Attachment(s) I understand perfectly, I just got my whelping area ready today..:D because Chanel is due thanksgiving week, hopefully she will have them during the week, because I have to work black friday, sat and sun, but my mom and hubby will stay home with them, I own a doll store and need to be there. so time is flying for me way too fast for my taste:eek: . here's a couple of pictures of my whelping area that I just put together today.. hugs, Carmen in nj and Chanel.. |
I love the whelping area. We are due next Tuesday, but her milk came in today. I hope she holds out until then. I would hate to have early puppies. |
My Darling Sassy 2 years old and never been breed. I sure hope my girl is going to be a good mother she is so like a child to me. She is around 5 lbs the dad was 3.5 lbs so I know I feel at least 3. Her tummy is getting bigger every day and she is not due till End of Nov. Boy are they kickers. So two more weeks of being on pins and needles. Her mother has had a few litters, so this is not our first go around with delivering pups. But it always feels like the first time. I hope I am off that day or I will be calling in sick. I was up most of the night delivering pups. My Miss Kitty had 3 females and 2 males. Thankfully every thing went smoothly. |
