I thought I would show you a few pictures of the area Tayah and her pup(s) will be after whelping. I thought the fabric was cute. It has little thermometers on it, stethoscope and a few other things! Here are before and after pictures. I still have some sewing to do on the bottom entry door and that should be it!

That is too precious Renee. Mine's not that fancy either, but it works. I have a potty area for when they get a little bigger and a set of stairs for her to go down into the play/food area so that she can get a break. I can't wait to see the furkid.

When pup(s) are older I will put a petyard around the one I posted and set up potty area. I just put a plastic table cloth on the floor under all of it and it is so easy to clean!!!!

yes, that is what I do too.. the vinyl tablecloth works perfect and protects my hardwood floors..LOL and I also have an x pen that I put around the box when they get a bit adventurous..LOL and the washing machine is on every day..LOL

It looks great! I looked at one of those cages yesterday and thought it would be nice to have.

Well the xray even good would have been useless anyway. I want the vet to look at it and talk with me. She also had a girl in the office pass away of an asthma attick and she was only 30. The tech told me she couldn't think straight right then and was really upset. It was her best friend. She was only trying to do me a favor since I had came out. I had a nice visit with her and she trim Tara's toenails all for free. I got to thinking maybe I was meant to go there for some reason to talk with her. I sit with her for almost 2 hours talking. Things happen for a reason... my reason that day was her not my xray. We will get that Friday. I feel bad now I was even aggerviated. I think I made a difference is someones day.

Don't feel bad, you helped her get through her day. I am sure she is very grateful for the 2 hours you spent there.

It is almost FRIDAY!!!!!!! I am exited for you Melissa!!! How is Tara feeling this morning?

I really like the cage, it has an opening at the top, the plastic bottom is almost 6 inches off the ground, and the wire top comes off. Tayah has been going in and out much more the past couple days.

I think she touched me more than she knows. She was having a really bad day. She said everytime she came in the office she was waiting for Val. All the other appointemnts had been called the night before but they over looked me. She was all alone and it was hitting hard. I think I was meant to go down there. I didn't get a xray but my heart was filled.

I am excited for tomorrow. If the vet doen't make it this time I know I have a great friend to sit and talk to for a while. :) I am pretty sure it is just 3. That is all I have been feeling the last week. She has 2 on the right and 1 on the left... i think..

Girl you were ment to be there she needed you.. God works on misterious ways and when something like this happens it just amaze me how great he is.. I am sure you will have a great visit with her tomorrow PLUS a great xray.. 3 sounds perfect to me..:D

Okay, So I was expecting 3, because of the ultrasound. When I went to do the x-ray, it showed Five!!! :eek: I'm still in shock. My litte one is gonna have five puppies. I saw the x-ray theres no doubt, there was five skulls. I told the vet I was super worried about the babies being too big. The vet says four of the babies skulls looked pretty rounded and that my little one shouldn't have trouble with them, but the one in the middle had a funny skull. I asked Her "what do i do?" She told me to just let my little Fiona go naturally, and if there are any complications to come the the vet right away.

I have a million questions now :confused:. She looks really skinny to me. I dont know where to start. Is she gonna be able to feed all the babies? How do i hand feed them? the vet told there's an art to hand feeding and that If i need to I'll have to bring the puppies in for them to show me, and if there is an emergency to call the emergency vet and they'll walk me through it. is that good enough. My fingures are itching, I think i'll go buy some more baby blankets. I'll post pictures of her later on tonight I haven't loaded them on to my computer yet. She's huge now. I got a baby bottle but I dont know if the nipple is too big?

I was told that the preemie bottles work great. Also, you can go to youtube and pull up just about any subject. My mom helped me hand feed some before. Just stay calm, those x-ray pics can be misleading sometimes. I pray that everything goes well for you.

Got it!!! here is my little one. They didn't give me any xrays to take home? Can I ask them for one? You can really see five skulls. But oh wells, more to love. I was going to keep them if there were only three. She's sleeping in her bed. She doesn't like the box very much. She's not use to a hard surface.
