It is illegal here to sell puppies at flea markets. And as a side note...I'm not sure why someone asking the price first bothers people...afterall suppose your price is far more than they intend to spend? I would think that would eliminate a lot of unnecessary discussion if it's asked first. |

You are right to a point. BUT if I tell them first thing that, for instance, my puppy is $1,000. and they say thank you and hang up, I don't have the chance to tell them all I do for my puppies and my dogs that make my puppy worth more than that $200. pup down the street that's had no vet care, no shots, no guarantee or anything. See what I'm saying?. |

1st Please dont hang me but I just had to comment. Some people (like I used to be before finding YT) are just very uninformed. I and my husband are on a fixed income and love yorkies dearly and when we first started looking for one we were like lots of others and the price was one of our first questions. We didnt do it to offend anyone we just knew what we could afford for the original cost and future expenses. Yes we bought from the wrong breeder even though we love our little Laddy dearly and so far thank God have had no major issues health wise with him. I know now that when the time comes that we ever buy again what to look for and that it is worth saving up to buy from a reputable breeder but honestly some of us are just uninformed yorkie lovers and don't mean to offend when we ask prices. ( I know now thanks to all you wonderful people never to do that again though.:p) |

Ugh. I've seen this lady selling yorkies for 350 O.O . Poor puppies are on the side of the street , right by where my boyfriend lives and as everyone knows miami gets supper hot. This lady had a sign and had them right there in the sun . It breaks my heart to see this =/. |
Here here!! Ugh, this is disgusting...bless your heart and your babies...for even having to see those other poor dogs like that! Reputable breeders, breed for the betterment of the breed, for the love of dogs...they take full responsibility for the puppies they produce and have strict criteria for potential buyers. If they are unable to match a puppy with an acceptable buyer, they will not sell it." Who knows where these poor little darlings are going to end up so small and fragile...no animal of any kind should have to live like that! This kind of behavior is disgusting...that he would shrug his shoulders and sell those poor babies to God knows what kind of owner. I don't even want to think about it, it's so upsetting!! Any responsible breeder should NOT want their dogs to end life in the pound, on the streets, or shuffled from one unsuitable home to another.” Neither would they sell them in a GARAGE SALE!! UGH, An individual who breeds responsibly loves the breed and wants the best for every member of that breed. Here's to all the breeders on here who love, care and nurture the health and safety of each little furbaby they bring into this world! I don't do it myself but I am in awe of your complete dilligence and love. God Bless you all! |
