Ha! I was thinking the same thing I wanted to get a guessing game or poll started! I honestly think maybe 4 as well, daddy is 4lbs and she was 7lbs to begin with now she's 10 and not even due yet...she has to have at least 3-4 babies. It scares me though because I've seen some have 5!!! What am I gonna do with that many Yorkster's?! I would be in Heaven!!! ha! She can't even jump on the bed anymore...she is so stubborn about using the steps, sometimes she does...sometimes she doesn't. Oh check out this pic from last night. I post these on FB but I always forget I can do them on here too! lol This is her with her suddenly favorite squeeky rabbit hiding in my nightstand cabinet, she carries it everywhere with her and squeeks it all the time. She suddenly started growling at anyone two days ago who get near her...even me! She would act that way sometimes with others but never with me. I finally had to distract her and swipe the rabbit and put it away. I don't want her to be that way or bite me and not let me help her deliver or take care of her pups, she needs to at least let me, I'm home all day. I don't know what to do about that? Anyways here's the pic from her hiding out with the rabbit last night before I became Swiper! lol |

Sounds to me like she may have adopted the rabbit as a baby and so she is being protective. She may let you help with the delivery, but she may be protective of the puppies, it might just take her time to calm down. Start her right now with training. Hold a treat and let her nipple it away with the attempt to take the rabbit from her. She will soon associate food with you handling her "baby" and hopefully she will focus more on the food or treat than the rabbit, thus making it possible for you to handle the puppies when its time. It is so funny you metion the stairs. I built Raeley a set of stairs as she couldn't get up on the bed any more either. I trained her to use them, but its like she would rather have me pick her up. She hardly will leave my side now. If I am at the desk (like now) she will sit under it instead of on my bed (her favorite place to nap). I forgot to ask you why your taking your girl in this Friday for her x-rays. It will be day 45. They may get some idea, but the pups bones would show up better on an x-ray if you did it between Oct 5th-9th. JMHO. My girl goes in on the 7th, day 58. |

Sorry, I messed up. I was just voting that Sandybobb, her puppies will be born on Oct. 24th. I got ahead of everyone. Sorry I am not having any puppies. Wish I was........... |

Sorry that was my fault. I didn't catch what you were saying for a bit. Still have the sleepy head thing going. I edited my post once I figured it out. Thats what I get for not being able to sleep in. My kids (skin and fur) needed their breakfasts. |
3 Attachment(s) Here is belly pics for week 6! Can you guess how many? |
2 Attachment(s) I thought that I would also share these two pictures. The first is Raeley sleeping under my desk; and the seconds is the daddy (on the left), and momma (on the right). And of course my 6 months old daughter to the farthest left, she's reaching for the dogs! |
4 Attachment(s) Wow! Looks like we might have a few of us having babies possibly on the same day! Was it a full moon out??? LMAO! HAHAHA Quote:
The Vet said 45 days in you can see the spines through xrays she may actually be 47-49 days at the times of xrays. Her time with her husband was from Aug 5th through Aug 9th and they stuck a few times but very quickly in front of husbands human momma so they may have stuck more when she wasn't around. The Dr said she wanted to add a couple of more days because for instance say they mated on the 8th her egg and his sperm may not of come in contact with each other until the 10th. So she gave an estimate date of conception as Aug 12th and estimated her due date as Oct 12-14th. My husband on the other hand thinks she may be a little further along then that and we may be having pups sooner like around the 10th! :aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork:aimeeyork The Dr said she would know more when she does the xray Friday but believes all their spines should show...if they don't then I don't believe she will charge me. They don't do sono's at my Vet, only two vets in town do it and both of them are the city's emergency 24 hr Vet so she doesn't recommend me spending the money unless it's necessary because they do charge more for their services then she does and we get a discount at our Vet as well. As much as I would like them to be on my bday being a human momma too I can imagine she wants them out already so the sooner the better. ;) She went to the groomers today so her belly is cleaned up and shaved and as soon as I get a chance I will take more pics! :aimeeyork Here are a couple of recent pics of daddy to be on his 2nd birthday!!! The pics of Carly in the black top is her at his party, and the pics of them together is during the time they were mating...don't they look exhausted! hahaha |

How many pounds is she??? I must have missed that part. She looks smaller then Carly which is why I ask, I think that has a lot to do with how big their tummy looks too. |
