It really is not nearly as bad as it sounds. They let out a tiny little yip and that is it. None of mine seemed to let it phase them at all. With the super glue on the ends, no infections or bleeding and they heal so fast.
The way mine are always sneaking through an open door, I am glad there is no long tail to get caught behind them. I am sure they adjust though and long tails are beautiful too. I just prefer the AKC standard look. That is what I fell in love with and waited years to have. I certainly understand the opposite view though. With or without a tail, there is nothing like a Yorkie! |
