If you remember, she and Toby had a couple of outside ties first, but I am estimating her due date by their first good tie..........which would make her due next Thursday August 20th. I think it will be then or later, rather than sooner.

I've never seen a pregnant dog before, this is so cool!!! Congratulations!!! Must be so exciting. Aug 20 is coming soon! I can't wait for the pictures of the pups.

Well thank you & welcome to Yorkie Talk. My Halle is due on the 20th with just one pup. Gosh, if it's pups you want to see, go check our the nursery section. There's lots of them there.

This vet kinda freaked me out!! I think it's how she said it, more than what she said. She came back in the room and said, "Well, we have one.....very....large.....puppy." Anyway, here he/she is.............Halle's beautiful baby!

OMYgoodness- it that not the most beautiful thing you have ever seen!!! A singleton- it must be in the cards for you to keep it Rose!!! Oh I wish you all the best with the whelping - I think most breeder's would agree with your vet, I am sorry you had to talk to the other one first. Lots of hugs to you and Halle and I know everything will be just fine!

Thanks Dwanna, Dr. D did say that it looked to be a nice healthy puppy..................how they can tell that from an x-ray is beyond me,

but it's nice to hear.

well my vet said the same thing when we looked at Molly's x-ray- he said they look like nice size healthy pups and a healthy Momma so I would believe him!!

Rose when Kalani was pregnant and the vet did the xray, they measured the head and her cervex opening, he said he thought she might have to have a c sec but to let her try. They made sure all the vets knew and had my call come straight through. Hopefully lil Halle will do just fine. Linda

Yep, yep............Dr. D also mentioned that Halle was very healthy also, so really no reason not to let her try to deliver naturally. The pups head compared to the pelvic opening looks close in size; she could do fine; it depends on how the pup presents itself.

Well, Granny Rose, it looks like you have a beauthiful furgranddaughter. She is pretty. LOL - that is the clearest xray I have seen - looks like she was posing for the camera.

I will be sitting on pins and needles. Hummmmm I wonder if she may have taken on one of the earlier ties, if she did, it would change a lot of things.

Well, Big baby=more beautiful hair(like Halle) to comb!!!

I took x-ray of Cheeky today and they couldn't copy it for me, so I barrowed x-ray with $50 deposit down!!!

Anyway, my vet told me that as long as head is small enough to path throw, you shouldn't worry about complication. I'll pray for Halle to have safe delivery~

Wow! That is a great x-ray, nice & clear. Does look like a nice size baby but she has all the room to grow, all by herself.

I'm praying for her but sure she'll do fine. Diva had 1 as you know and the vet was also saying how big the baby was. She had no problems, it was all smooth sailing with the whelping. As attentive as you are to Halle & her needs, I'm sure you will know when the time comes if she will need any help.

How exciting...1 more week to go and you'll have the great scent of puppy breath all around you! I'm sure she's gonna be beautiful!!

And I'm glad you got to talk to Dr. D for reassurance to!

Oh, Rose! What a cute little puppy Halle has growing in there! Your vet's words also bring comfort to me, so thank her for that LOL. Won't that be funny if our girls whelp on the same day..? I am confident that everything will go smoothly! Halle already has the advantage of a head-first puppy
