| Mom in labour... HI. I have a girl in labour with her first litter. She has been pushing for over an hour... she pushes five times or so - then rests for about 15 minutes. She doesn't seem to be in distress neither is she panting. She panted earlier and was digging excessively. Now just waits for the contractions. No puppy has made it down into her birth canal yet She is 60 days today. I have called the vet but haven't yet heard back from anyone. Any recommendations? |

| Has she been having hard contractions for over an hour? If so, there may be a problem. Best to call a vet. You might try taking her outside to walk around for a few minutes. This seems to stimulate more contractions. Has her water broke or has she produced a bubble yet?

| Hi all. Got her to the vet. We lost the puppy that was too large to pass; but do have a beautiful little boy. Mom was spayed during the C-section. Thank you for all your concern. |
