Thanks everyone for the kind words. Ok I am a member of a canine repro group and some one mentioned that if you cant get the drug then you can use brandy or vanilla extract as well. Same thing, a drop under the tounge. Anyone hear of this? |

Breny, I've sent off an e-mail. Since she's an RN I don't know what her work schedule is... Here's what I'm reading. Oxygen enriched air is necessary for pups having difficulty breathing. If a pup is very congested, you should instigate Amoxicillin therapy and a couple of drops of Benadryl (for infants) or Temaril P (if you have it, a few granules in the glucose solution is sufficient once a day for two days). Check with your veterinarian because this Temaril P is a prescription drug used used for respiratory problems. |
